Nora's Yosemite retreat is the perfect vacation spot for enjoying your special visit to one of the greatest parks in the world, Yosemite. Nora's Yosemite retreat is one of two rental's on the property. Long term renter in studio apartment down stairs. Separate entrance and parking.
Nestled in the Sierra National Forest, you can choose from two of Yosemite's most popular entrances. Your retreat is surrounded by large pine and oak trees, some over 50 years old. Our comfortable rustic great room features a classic wood burning stove, comfortable seating, and an open floor plan to the dining area and kitchen. Despite the rustic charm, you can stay totally up-to-date with Wi-Fi, Or, curl up in front of the fire with a good book or a game with family and friends while dinner is cooking. Enjoy the game or race with our satellite flat screen TV, or enjoy our extensive DVD collection for a fun movie night. The dining table seats six between the kitchen and living area. And, the newly-remodeled kitchen features a gas range and everything you need to create a lovely vacation meal, including dish washer for easy clean up. Our full size washer and dryer is in a separate room just off the kitchen and easily accessible.
Adjoining the great room there is a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bath. In the living room is a queen size sofa sleeper. Half bath available.
Our great room has two sliding glass doors, one opening up to your outdoor deck with bar-b-q and one that opens to your private all weather enclosed deck with table and chairs for dining, enjoying a glass of wine, playing games or planning your next Yosemite adventure.

Summary: Nora and Frank are underselling this place! They had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay, filled with family time. Although it is a bit of a drive to Yosemite, we were fine to max out our days because this house had all we needed to cook a good meal and relax at night. Perfectly comfortable. Hosts were super helpful before the trip and when we got there. Truly, they far surpassed our expectations. We are truly grateful. This place made our big trip so much easier.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the lovely cabin. The cabin was very nice spacious and Nora was kind and accommodating. About an hour away from yosemite valley which 10 miles from near by grocery stores so, would recommend bringing groceries with you.We would love to stay again in same cabin.

Summary: Loved everything about this place. Clean and bed was comfy. Liked the open and screened porch with view of woods and no other buildings, Just like others have commented that it is about 30 minutes to Mariposa but the offset is feeling secluded and quiet. Great communication with the host too. Always answered when called.

Summary: We loved this cabin so much and it was a great part of why our Yosemite trip was fun. Very clean and well stocked and maintained. Excellent quiet location surrounded by the forest. Frank and Nora were friendly and helpful! Keep in mind it's about an hour to an hour and half drive to Yosemite National Park, so plan accordingly.
