This ideal Vermont getaway is right next to the Artsistree Community Center. Pomfret offers the perfect location to explore what the Upper Valley offers in all four seasons. In addition to the Village of Woodstock, it is an easy commute east to the picturesque village of Quechee, eclectic downtown in White River Junction, Vermont, and further east over the river to Hanover, New Hampshire - the home of Dartmouth College. Killington, Pico, and Okemo mountains are about 30 to 40 minutes to the west of Pomfret and offer more advanced skiing terrain during the winter months, along with Saskadena Six mountain biking and hiking in the summer. You will also be near Appalachian trails, which outdoor enthusiasts will love. The Teago General Store is conveniently located diagonally across the street and stocks occasional grocery items and light breakfast and lunch options for purchase.
Generous windows provide great views of the mountain, while the private patio and backyard offer expansive views of the valley and the ski trails. Relax in the evening around the firepit or enjoy a meal prepared on the gas grill. The updated property provides an open-concept living and sleeping area with a full bath and kitchenette. Summary: The cabin was amazing! Perfect for a low key couples getaway. The view in the back is gorgeous of the ski mountain, and fire pit was great in the evening. The owner was so helpful and kind throughout the process and weekend. Ran into difficulties getting help from the booking site originally, but once the owner was involved it was a breeze. Very close to downtown (about 6-7minutes). Would 10/10 book again.

Summary: This was such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! Everything was perfectly clean and organized. We would definitely stay there again. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Summary: Overall a great place in a beautiful area next to a skii hill. There were issues with bugs throughout the place when we first arrived. Its important to note there is no mobile service within a mile of this place so make sure to have your wifi and checkin details available. Some parts of the room were dusty and had cobwebs but the owner did have plenty of towels and supplies to make our stay great.

Summary: This was such an awesome place to stay at. My wife and I loved everything about the house and property. It reminded us of the first place we rented together as a couple and it was such an amazing place. The little house is extremely bright and has such large personality for a small place. The kitchenette is great for prepping basic things to eat. WiFi and tv were a nice touch too. The bathroom is an excellent size with a beautiful custom built in shower. The fire pit area was one of our favorite spots by far. We enjoyed the view of the mountain while soaking up the afternoon sun during our late winter stay. If you want privacy, ease of check, and a private beautiful view of the ski hill then this place is for you!

Summary: My husband and I Stayed for 2 nights, and the cottage experience was so lovely! We woke up to 3 inch of snow the morning of our departure, but we were grateful that the plow truck plowed around our car around 530am, and the host left a shovel, car brush, driveway salt to ensure we had everything we needed. Communicating with host/manager was occasionally tricky when AT the cabin- the wifi at the cottage was usually working, but the cell service was so low that once in a while, I got "failure to send text" alerts. Fortunately, we had little need to reach out during our stay ❤️ would happily return to this tiny cabin!
