The Ivy Lodge is located in the quiet suburb of Ivybridge, on the end of a private Cul-de-sac area on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.
The studio apartment set within the South Hams and spoilt for choice for some of the very best South Devon beaches all nearby.
Our studio is a perfect space ideal for couples, solo adventurers, small families and business travellers.
Large choice of Pubs, shops and restaurants all within walking distants.
The studio has a flat screen TV with free view and DVD player. Ideal for coulpes with a king size bed.
The sofa is also a bed if required. The en-suite shower room has a toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fan oven, Electric Hob, Micro wave, Toaster and Kettle and all the utensils that you'll ever need to enjoy your stay.
There is free parking just outside on private drive.
All bedding and towels are provided for your stay.
You will have the use of a free WiFi connection.
We are located just 0.5 miles away from train station and park and ride.
High chair and Travel cot available on request. (small additional refundable deposit charged).
Just short distants from Plymouth. There's easy access to the A38 by car which can take you to Plymouth or Exeter and even into Cornwall. We are also on a bus route which can take you to Plymouth City Centre and Plymouth Hoe.

Summary: Brilliant accommodation equipped with everything needed to a very high standard. Central location for visiting South Hams, Dartmoor and over the bridge in to Cornwall. Melanie & David were excellent hosts. We would visit again & also recommend to friends & family.

Summary: A lovely well furnished, thought out and comfortable space with lots of touches like the fairy lights which made us feel well looked after. David was very quick and easy to get hold of and very helpful when we struggle to get internet access on arrival. A bit of confusion about two things prior to booking because information varies on website and elsewhere regarding no pets allowed and check in/depart times - but that was easily answered via messages to Melanie. So glad I sorted those queries out and decided to stay - it was a lovely relaxing week at Ivy Lodge. Convenient for our trips to the sea for swim, a walk on Dartmoor from the apartment and back, pottering in Totnes and Dartmouth , a cosy afternoon in, and a trip to Plymouth and the gin distillery by train. Summary: It is a very lovely place! Everything is very clean and nice decorated! You find everything you need for cooking and the living room ist very cosy. We explored the Dartmoor and had a great time at the Ivy Lodge :)

Summary: The Ivy Lodge is a delightful home from home! Spotlessly clean and very cosy with great attention to detail. We really enjoyed our stay - just wish it could've been a longer one! We'd highly recommend this hidden gem for couples and those with a child (our twelve year old son said the sofa bed was very comfy) and we will definitely be returning in the future!

Summary: My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here in May. I booked an apartment rather than a hotel because we wanted more comfort and peace than a hotel offers. We got exactly that! Our apartment had everything we needed and more and was in such a gorgeous, quiet area which was just a 15-20 minute walk to the shops and bus stop. Everything in the apartment was spotless, and our hosts left fresh milk and eggs, and some gorgeous organic lemonade and we had the basics for cooking. I would highly recommend this stunning apartment for your holidays in this beautiful part of the country. We would jump at the chance to return. Thankyou Melanie xx

Summary: Great use of space, equip with everything you need and the secure garden is perfect for letting your dog wander and the BBQ was a lovely addition as we had lovely weather so made the most of the outside private space. The riverside walk in Ivybridge is lovely, recommend that. Dog towels, dog biscuits and water bowl were provided which was lovely and milk, eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits for the human which was was also lovely. Parking is a little tight especially if the owners have visitors. And the only downside I found was a lot of noise carried through the walls from the attached owners during the evenings. Overall the studio was great for what I needed - a base for visiting friends in Plymouth.
