All on one level, set in a peaceful location, Slade Stables near Blockley has been meticulously restored and rebuilt with an emphasis on light and practicality. Sleeping 4 guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two well-appointed bedrooms each with its own ensuite. The open plan living space houses a cosy sitting area and well equipped kitchen with seating, ideal for relaxing with friends or family after a day exploring the area. There is a perfect area by the front door, to have a BBQ and to soak up the rural atmosphere. There are many wonderful walks from the door where you can soak up the views and you can spot lots of wildlife and birds. The nearby woodland is home to wild orchids and there is even a herd of deer. And if you fancy a delicious breakfast or lunch the Cotswold Food Store and Cafe are just along the road.

Summary: We are regular visitors to different counties & different rentals. This was the best ever & everything had been thought about. The stables were clean, comfortable & so well equipped. All the basics for self catering were there & the welcome basket really appreciated. The hosts were on hand if needed with advice on the area. Altogether first class .

Summary: 3rd stay here. We just love the peace and quiet and always feel relaxed and well rested. Immaculately clean and tastefully styled with a home from home feel with everything you need. Great location not that far from Stow, Broadway, Bourton on the Water and Moreton-In-Marsh. The host, Jane is so lovely and always make sure we are ok. Would highly recommend.

Summary: We enjoyed staying here and have booked again. The owner was next door and went out of her way to help us. Excellent bed linen, towels and facilities. Comfortable beds, sofs and chairs. Very usable kitchen, easy to use shower controls (a huge bonus!) and lots of hot water. Very comfortable cottage for 3 adults but 4 might be a bit tight. Only two liitle minus points: would appreciate reading lights by the bed and would like an oven proof caserole dish. Some might find the freezer space too small.

Summary: We loved the 2 bedroom accomodation, it was great having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would need. The lounge was comfortable, along with comfy beds, and good pillows. Great outdoor area with a bbq for the warmer days. It was so peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved waking up to the fields and horses. Good location for touring the Cotswold, everything was within a 20 minute drive and the nearest village just up the road. Would highly recommend.
