Summary: Helpful friendly renter. Easy check in. Clean, well stocked. Fast wifi. Breathtaking views of nearby peaks. Great find!

Summary: We spent three weeks at the Crimson Cabin. Location and view were beyond expectations. The views of the mountains are second to none and being above 11,000 feet was a great experience. We were within a mile of a couple of great trailheads. The cabin itself was adequate for our needs. But it does need updating. The carpet is worn, towels were older and well-used, curtain rod loose from wall, no screens on windows or primary deck door to name a few things. A few kitchen items needed to be cleaned before using them for cooking. We did some cleaning when we arrived and the Crimson Cabin met our needs. It was a good experience in the Alma/Fairplay area. We will return to that area for future vacations.

Summary: In disclosure and not in description is the elevation of 11,000 ft. Uncomfortable beds and couch. Dirty pillows. No one slept well. Lost electricity and cabin was not equipped with flashlights. Very dangerous.

Summary: Great Place, great communication, incredible view. Stayed two weeks. Easy to get to Alma and Fairplay. No issue with Roads. Planning to stay again! Private. Had everything we needed. Fully recommend.

Summary: We absolutely loved staying at the cabin. It was cozy, private, amazing view and gave us the winter trip feel we needed. My son absolutely loved that we were able to explore and enjoy the snow so close to the cabin.

Summary: The perfect cabin for our fall getaway! With the exception of the living room couch, all accommodations were very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The big sliding doors/windows made for breathtaking views. We very much enjoyed our 5-night stay!

Summary: Great place to acclimate before big adventures in the Alpine!

Summary: This was our first trip to Colorado. We booked our stay at Crimson Cabin based on location thinking that the central location of the cabin (in the state) would allow us to make day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Garden of the Gods. The view from the cabin itself is spectacular! The night sky is glorious! We even had a mama bear visit with her cub early one morning!!! The cabin itself had all the kitchen supplies we required (dishes). There was plenty of hand soap, towels, dish detergent, paper towels, etc. There was, however only one washcloth in the cabin when we arrived. Since my party consisted of three people and we paid for five nights, I immediately contacted the host. Though I did get a response, I never received any additional washcloths or an explanation that we were to bring our own. I did go back to review the description of the cabin. I couldn’t find anything listed about bringing your own washcloths. Each day spent in Colorado was amazing and exhausting! However, the nights were not restful. The beds in the cabin are very uncomfortable. The king-size mattress was hard and the two standard size pillows provided were subpar. My son slept in the second room and gave a similar review for that bed. Unfortunately, we lost the last night’s rent and opted to get a hotel room so we could bathe with a washcloth and get a good night’s rest before returning home.

Summary: The cabin itself is nice. Well kept. Great views. Best for 2 adults and 2 kids or less. Vrbo pays attention to how many times you view a property and then raises the price. You also pay a cleaning fee, but they want you to do some "cleaning" before you leave.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in the central Rockies! The property was very clean and well maintained, not to mention nicely decorated. Cooking utensils, bedding and towels all fine. We even enjoyed putting together a puzzle they had available on a rainy afternoon. Be prepared to drive on dirt roads. Great part of the country- great cabin!
