Conveniently located and within 12-15 minutes’ walk of the centre of the village, this lovely detached holiday house is an ideal base from which to explore and savour the delights of the Cotswolds, much of which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With the sparkling and swiftly flowing River Windrush racing through the broad expanse of village green, the ’Venice of the Cotswolds’ as Bourton is referred to, is a treat for visitors no matter what time of year. With its graceful low stone bridges spanning the small river at intervals, the centre of the village is picture postcard perfect throughout the seasons. The Roman road, the Fosse Way, is a major access route running across the area, taking the visitor from Moreton-in-Marsh in the north to Cirencester in the south. Local Bourton attractions include the Model Village, Motor Museum and Birdland. Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Kenilworth castles are all within a comfortable drive.

Summary: The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms which was very ideal when you have 3 families together. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cutlery. Walk to Bourton town was 15min so good location not too far and still away from tourists. Check in check out is easy with key box. Overall very happy. Just remember to bring tea and coffee or you can get from Londis from town.

Summary: House is situated just a short walk away from the village of Bourton-on-the-Water. The house has everything needed for an enjoyable stay including a lovely garden and kitchen. We would recommend the house and we will hopefully return (my 4 year old grandson is already planning his return... he loved being there with all his family!)

Summary: we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house..Margaret the owner couldnt have been more helpful...the house is a very short stroll from the main part of Bourton which is a huge bonus...everything about the house and its garden is perfect, I couldn't find any negatives at all..We would love to return
