Positive: We enjoyed our stay at Pensiunea Dany. The rooms were very clean, also the staff very friendly. Would definitely go back again.

Positive: The staff was more than willing to welcome us. They allowed us to extend our stay and to take a shower after normal check out time (17h!!) which was really amazing and we were really grateful for that since we were the whole day on the mountain.

Negative: I've send a request to cancel some rooms, but the manager told us that the Booking hasn't sent them any such request, which I find doubtful. It would be also much easier if they know a little bit more English, but there is always google translate.

Summary: It was very clean and they let us check out late.

Positive: Amazing place in the middle of the nature The staff helped us to change the room on our request

Negative: Old facility which definitely needs a renovation to meet standard comfort Very uncomfortable beds and horrible pillows! It should not be so expensive to change them time to time Quite noisy - the first room had a window to the main road, just few meters next to it. The second room was noisy too, as the isolation is probably very old!

Positive: On the main road towards Retezat Mountains lies Pensiunea Dany, a cozy and relaxing place to spend the night: clean and comfortable rooms with bath and TV, Wi-Fi; fresh, traditional food and warm, hearty people to greet you. Pensiunea Dany is very popular with paragliders and outdoorsmen coming to the area so the yard is fitted with space for camping, a grill that anyone can use and enough space to park a moderate number of vehicles.

Summary: All in all staying here was a wonderful experience that I am looking forward to repeating next time!
