Positive: Amazing staff and delicious breakfast!

Negative: It is a little far from the lifts. But the amazing staff will give you a ride and pick you up from the main village.

Summary: Great for a solo traveler on a budget.

Positive: Food!!!! I am very happy that I found this place. The rooms are somewhat basic but more than sufficient for a ski trip. It’s within walking distance of the slopes but still the hosts will drive you back and forth. The hosts are very hospitable and the lady speaks good English. My favorite part was the food, the breakfast was very diverse and the dinner was another level, some of the best meals I had in Japan. I think it’s a restaurant because one night people that didn’t stay at the lodge came to have dinner, but they don’t advertise. I highly recommend this place!

Negative: I liked everything. The only thing I wish this type of places had is a night lamp.

Summary: No frills ski lodge close to the slopes and with AMAZING food

Positive: The staff are amazing. They went above and beyond to look after us. The breakfast was really good too and well set up facilities for ski gear in the drying room. Lots of space in the rooms and a nice communal area with a pretty view. Drop off and pick up to the base of the ski area each day was also great ❤️

Negative: The communal showers were a cultural experience. We liked them, but just be aware if you aren’t quite up for it as a westerner.

Summary: We had a great time here. The staff are incredible, we felt very at home ❤️
