Positive: The apartment had a comfortable bed and there is access to a private playground. This was a plus as we were travelling with a toddler.

Negative: The ad stated that a dryer and a washing machine were available in our apartment. Sadly, this was not true, and since we had chosen this place precisely because we needed to do some laundry, it was quite disappointing. When we asked the host about it, they wanted to charge us for the service. However, if you don’t need a washer in your room, this might still be a good option for you. All things considered, we found the place a bit pricey.

Positive: Pension Höchemer is a fantastic place to stay if you are traveling in the Bad Kissingen area of Germany. Herr Höchemer and his family are welcoming and strive to make your visit as pleasant as possible. The residence is located in Bad Bocklet, a quiet, safe, and beautiful spa town, with a view of the scenic valley through which flows the Franconian Saale. I stayed in a private room with queen bed, a large well-equipped kitchen, and a large bathroom. Self-serve laundry on site is available for no extra charge. The property garden is lovely and peaceful. Across the street is an Italian bistro that serves excellent pizza and a variety of dishes and is open late. There is a butcher, grocery store, and bakery within five minutes’ walk. I plan on returning! An excellent value! Vielen Dank an Familie Höchemer!
