Positive: Booked Peep-O-Day for a family celebration & it didn't disappoint. The cottage was warm, comfortable, extremely well equipped & ideally located for what we wanted to do. Coupled with stunning views, a pub serving excellent food within walking distance & a games room which the younger generation particularly enjoyed, it made for a perfect weekend!

Positive: The location is amazing, the house is comfy and clean and the owner has been so helpful and approachable I would definitely come here again it's been amazing Pub and lovely walks are just up the road and everywhere you look there is a lovely view

Negative: The only thing that was a little tricky was the parking, the drive way isn't big enough for more than two small cars or one big car. Also the bath/shower was quite hard to use without splashing water everywhere but we had plenty of towels to deal with that

Positive: We had a very cozy and relaxing stay. It was a really well equipped kitchen, great for cooking. The ping pong table was a great bonus and the lovely fire in the front room. We'd recommend the punchbowl pub at the end of the road and there was a nice walk up to an old Smelting Mill too. Even though we stayed there when there was lots of snow the road was extremely well gritted, every hour or so they'd be a gritter passing by and we managed fine in small cars without 4x4 (would recommend bringing a snow shovel for your car on the drive though). We'd definitely go back again!

Positive: Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The heating made it cost upstairs.

Negative: The electric heating downstairs never warmed up during our stay, despite our best efforts. Only one shower (where you could fully stand up) for a 4 bed house wasn’t sufficient. Lovely to have a log burner, but, sadly, it hardly produced any heat.

Summary: Great location, well equipped, clean but not warm - and that’s in July!
