Positive: Comfy country cottage in a great location - 1min from 2 great pubs / local eggs & milk Super clean & homely / we felt really safe Nice little extra's left - milk, jam, tea & coffee etc Wifi, amazon & DVD's all available at no extra cost Super welcoming and helpful host that met us to hand over keys Log fire gorgeous

Negative: One of the beds was very hard Parking is also in a car park 1min up the road if like us your car is too big to park just outside

Positive: The location of this cottage is amazing. While a little bit of a challenge to find, the owners could not be more helpful and friendly. It is right opposite a pub that serves fantastic food. The pub is not a noisy sort of pub, and it was great for a quick bite.

Negative: We were a party of five people and having only one bathroom meant queues at times! Given the age of the cottage, this cannot be fixed but could become a problem if you have someone in your party with colitis or Crohn's.

Summary: A fantastic time! I think the hosts, S and P, were the best communicative hosts ever

Positive: We had a perfect stay in this lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Great Longstone. The cottage was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough for our family of five adults. It is well situated close to the two excellent village pubs and a short walk to a third in Little Longstone. Plenty of lovely walks from the village including the Monsal Trail, and lots more a short drive away. Sheila met us when we arrived and showed us around the house which was lovely.

Positive: This lovely house is situated in a beautiful village in the Peak District with lots of great places and outdoor activities nearby. We found it ideal for our family of 5. There's fantastic walking on the doorstep with the Monsal Trail, with a host of sights a short ride away. Car is most handy but there are public transport options available, even to this quiet corner of Derbyshire.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable, lots to do nearby, two great pubs in walking distance and a playgroud at the top of the road. Local fields for a nice morning walk right by the house.

Negative: Downstairs doesnt get much natural light, but its nice and bright upstairs.
