The house is comfortable, private and rustic with an open plan dining and living room which opens out to a large deck with sail. Fireplace and infinity hot water. Shower and separate toilet. Spacious and fully fenced grounds for the kids to run around. Surrounded by native bush and a dairy farm, enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Carport and ample parking.
With a short drive to Te Horo and Otaki beach, as well as the Otaki outlet shops and cafes. Only 1 hour drive from Wellington Ferry Terminal for those passing through and needing a stopover. Many recreational activities on your doorstep with Otaki Forks where you can walk and swim. Also the local museum, pool and Lavender Creek Farm.

Summary: It was quiet and made me feel at home and our dog loved it too. Lovely and clean and the native bush behind the house made for a nice little walk. Beautiful yummy plums too. I also loved the fact that there was no wifi our kids sat out and watched tv with us it was like being back in the old days when I was a kid lol 👍😁

Summary: This is a real little gem. Great location, and all you have to bring is your food. Everything is supplied (incl linen if you want). Very homely feel to it and it was interesting to read the history of the family. Thanks for making it the ideal stay. Cheers. Catherine
