This detached, single storey Annexe has been modernized and furnished to a high standard. The property is set in the 2-½ acre grounds of our home in an attractive, semi rural setting in Suffolk, within easy reach of main roads, shops & restaurants. Access to the property is via electric gates & long driveway, providing ample parking for 2-3 cars and an external, coin operated charging point for electric cars. It has its own south-facing garden, with outside table & chairs & BBQ for you to enjoy the delightful surroundings.
There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher fridge/freezer, washing machine & under floor heating. The utility area has ample space for coats & shoes and extra cupboards providing washing & ironing facilities, as well as a coin operated tumble dryer. The open plan living/dining area has comfortable seating with Free-Sat TV, DVD player & free Wi-Fi connection, an oak table with four chairs and French doors leading to the garden. There are two bedrooms, 1 double & 1 twin, with comfortable beds, blackout blinds & plenty of wardrobe hanging space. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower over the bath.
If you are planning to attend, or even take part at one of the many events organized at Trinity park, such as the Suffolk Show, Robin Hood Game Fair or maybe a family wedding, we are within a couple of minutes of the main show ground entrance, or within walking distance for the Suffolk Show or Polo entrances.
Redferns is ideally situated to explore the many attractions of East Anglia, yet also perfect as somewhere to relax in peaceful surroundings.

Summary: This is our second stay at Redferns having visited last year. The property is still great and Amanda is a very attentive host. Very clean, well managed, quiet and located nicely for a lot to see in Suffolk.

Summary: My husband & I stayed at the Redfern Annex in May of this year. Not only did we find the Annex spotlessly clean, but it had every amenity we could possibly have needed for our vacation. On the grounds of the owners, but still very peaceful & private. A great sense of security because of the electric gate which was a wonderful plus. Ample parking for more than one car & was very central for shopping, eating out, visiting other towns & walking paths. Amanda was extremely friendly & made herself very available for any questions we may have had. We will definitely return to the Annex on our next visit to Ipswich.

Summary: My wife and I stayed at Redferns for seven nights at the beginning of October. We have stayed at many self catering units in the UK and abroad over the last few years and would say that Redferns was probably the best that we had stayed at. The unit is a two bed bungalow in the grounds of the owner’s house. However, occupants have complete privacy. There is plenty of room to park next to the unit. Also the unit has an external 3 pin electric socket, on a coin meter, for those who would like to charge up an electric or electric plug-in hybrid car. The unit very comfortably furnished with two nice sofas, a dining table with four chairs and a coffee table. The beds are very comfortable with quality mattresses. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a range of utensils, a ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer. There is a large wall mounted TV with Freeview. The unit was very clean when we arrived. It is situated within easy reach of Ipswich and Felixstowe and there are a number of good countryside and coastal walks within a few miles. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Redferns and would return to explore more of the area in future years. Amanda, the owner, was very helpful and friendly, but not intrusive..

Summary: A lovely quiet location, secure within the grounds of the owners. Lovely welcome from Amanda who ensured we had everything we needed. Annex completely furnished with everything you need and everything spotless. Good location to venture out and only 20 minutes from the sea. Had a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend it.

Summary: We booked this property based on the area and excellent reviews from previous renters. It did not disappoint ! The level of cleanliness was outstanding, the location peaceful , private and attractive. The host was friendly and welcoming. The property was very well equipped and comfortable.
