Tamsin's Cottage is a light and spacious barn conversion well equipped with all modern conveniences. There are spectacular views of the countryside and valley extending into the distance. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with only the sounds of the birds for company, then look no further.
Upon entering the cottage, you'll be welcomed by a spacious and bright kitchen/living/dining area characterized by its vaulted ceilings. This area has been thoughtfully updated for 2025 with a brand new IKEA kitchen and stylish Karndean flooring that enhances both aesthetics and practicality.

Furnished with a luxurious four-poster king bed, equipped with a new EMMA Next-Generation mattress (installed in 2024) for optimal comfort.
Second Bedroom:
Flexible sleeping arrangements, as it can be configured as either a twin (two single beds) or a double (one large bed). Just let us know your preference ahead of time.
Outside you will find a large private patio, perfect for that morning cup of coffee watching a diverse range of birds enjoying the bird feeder, or for an al-fresco barbeque (new gas BBQ in Summer 2024). There is also a 4-person heated hot-tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Cornwall's stunning coastal paths. It’s also a great way to relax under the stars, especially in our designated dark sky area where stargazing can be truly magical. If you have brought along your four-legged friend, the garden is walled, gated and secure. There is a public bridleway just in front of the cottage, ideal for an early morning or evening dog walk. We also have two fenced fields, where dogs may run and play off leash when there is no livestock in residence. Conveniently located just outside the garden gate, the dedicated car parking area ensures easy access to the cottage.
Solar panels and a ground-source heat pump provide central heating and hot water (backed up be electricity from renewable sources). We try to use eco-friendly products where possible.

Summary: Stayed there with my husband and 2 dogs. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. On arrival the welcome pack was really appreciated and a lovely touch. The property is really clean and there everything you could possibly need there for a relaxing break. The scenery is breathtaking and so much to do in just short car journeys. Would recommend if you want to escape and unwind and see the beautiful scenery of Cornwall. Look forward to going back.

Summary: We stayed in Tamsins cottage for a week in late April, we had an absolutely fantastic time. Lesley went out of her way to make our stay perfect, from a range of greeting treats, to meeting us upon our arrival. The cottage was lovely, clean, nicely decorated, and housed pretty much anything you could possibly need during your stay. We even managed a spot of baking whilst there. The hot tub is an extra touch which we all loved spending time in and watching the visiting birds and rolling hills in the distance. All in all we had a lovely stay in the cottage with our children of 4 and 9 years of age. We can’t thank Lesley enough for her hospitality.The Startin Family

Summary: After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too
