Positive: It was a calm, quiet retreat from family celebrations for hs graduation, grandson's 18th birthday, both of our son's birthdays, my eldest son's 25th anniversary and our 50th anniversary all happening during that time period.

Positive: Hostess Nora was attentive and informative when needed but not intrusive. The home is delightful and very clean. It has a nice calm atmosphere and also has a gathering area outside with a charcoal grill, beverage holder and fire pit.

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like but, the water tank in the front is a little off putting when you first pull up. Don’t let this bother you ! once in the house, you don’t pay anymore attention to it. great place to stay !!

Positive: I liked the layout of the house, there is one bedroom and bathroom at either end and there are doors in and out on all 4 sides. The great room is really big and fits everyone comfortably. The porch and the rocking chairs were cool! I think it was decorated super cute. Note - the mailbox keys are in the mailbox ON the house, not the mailbox out on the road. ;)

Negative: The bunk beds are air mattresses and when a person is on them, they make a lot of noise. That may have been listed in the description, I don't know. It was comfortable but just loud. Maybe a cover could help. I reached out to the owner by email before I left and never got a response. She text the day after we got there and responded to the conversation right then, but when I reached out the next day, I didn't get a response to my question. Last, I was a little underwhelmed by the amount of cleaning you are expected to do before you leave considering you are paying service/cleaning fees. I feel like some of the dishes were put away dirty since others were doing the cleaning.

Summary: Cute place and pretty close to town to be able to get anything you need. Great porch area!
