Summary: Nestled in a quiet and peaceful rural area roughly halfway between Auburn and Colfax, this is a great place to stay. Within reasonable driving distance of both the mountains and Sacramento, there's plenty to see and do if you're visiting the area. Cottage is very cozy, clean,and comfortable. Rene and Patty, the hosts, are very friendly and helpful and available if any issues arise. Highly recommended.

Summary: Lovely little cottage ideally located in Colfax. It is a quiet and nice place. We were able to walk with our kids in the forest. The interior of the cottage is very rustic, well-designed, very comfortable, and well-arranged. We arrived late after 8:00 pm, and inside was warm, and cozy and the beds were ready and comfortable for my kids, my husband, and myself. We loved the way how the host left snacks on the table, juice, and sparkling water in the refrigerator. It is really nice! Also, We enjoyed the backyard - with a lot of leaves and quietness. We loved it so much, and we are sure we will return back every time when we will need that time to be away from work and city life. Thank you very much!!
