Positive: Place was very clean and cozy. It even had well stocked cupboards with oil, seasoning etc. so I could quickly prepare my meals before going shopping. It was also stocked with cleaning materials. Wi-Fi was available and free, and the location was in a very quiet and peaceful area. Stella the host was very friendly and warm and responded immediately to any challenges I had. I am definitely coming to stay here again, and it has become my preference going forward.

Positive: Had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was super clean, cozy, and looked exactly like the pictures. The host was very friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed. Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had — I would absolutely stay here again!

Positive: The bed was comfortable. She was helpful in guiding and directing me into the space. And the location was close to many restaurants and grocery stores. I think I'll have to look for a residence style hotel further out next time if I need a stove and oven though.

Negative: There needs to be a revamp in whoever they are hiring to clean. The place could've been cleaner. Some surfaces are wiped, but you can tell it's with a wet rag or a wipe that may be leaving residue. I let that go but there were further things. The reason I utilized this apartment was that it was close to a friend's place but would allow me a full kitchen to use. The burners were covered in oil and so were some of the reservoirs underneath. The toilet could've been cleaner. I sacrificed a portion of my soft pumice stone to clean underneath the rim and saw that there was definitely not just hard water staining but dry fecal matter. It's slightly cleaner, but this needs baking soda and the like. I didn't use them as I didn't want to risk any smoke or fire. I had traveled with chilled food that I was able to heat. The place also smelled faintly of weed and some dog hair was coming up on my socks. Unsure if that was the last person who reserved. 3 suggestions: Zep Cleaners, air purifiers, Vacuum with HEPA filter, and pumice stone and CLR for the calcium,lime and rust.

Positive: I liked the convenience of the location and the cleanliness. Also, the host graciously guided me to the apartment, which I found difficult to find.

Negative: I did not like that the patio door would not lock, however I felt somewhat safe since it was a second story unit. The neighbor’s dog barked late into the night.

Positive: This is a nice apartment in a gated community - safe. Arranged and furnished with care, nothing misses from the utensils, kitchenware or toiletries (oh, maybe just a pair of scissors :) ), the bed is good, 4 pillows - 2 of them are memory-foam-type, comforting. Of the furnishings, I especially loved the set of bauhaus-like chairs, and the glass set of tables - very artsy (although I figure they are quite demanding in terms of surface cleaning). Also, I just loved the floor lamp by the sofa - switches on/off (3 levels of brightness) just by hand-touch on its side, very convenient. I didn't use the stovetop to cook, just the microwave which is very simple 1-click operated. Hot water is really hot, wifi works perfectly. A/C is also fine, just noisy at times, but that's common for Houston overall. The street is purely residential - there are several gated communities along it, traffic is mainly local and not very intensive. I chose this apartment primarily because its location - in a prominent Westchase district and just between 2 very long busy streets: Westheimer Rd and Richmond Ave. Both have buses commuting along them (Westheimer's bus #82 goes every 8 minutes, Richmond's #25 every 30 min) that could take you just anywhere of commerce/importance you'd wish, so you could do without a car altogether just in case. In nearest proximity to the apartment is the wonderful supermarket Phoenicia with tasty goods from all over the world, excellent pastries and adjacent cafe serving delicious food. Also, along Westheimer in proximity are big grocery stores like HEB, Whole Foods, WalMart, Target. Plus Burlington, Ross and even Nordstrom rack, etc. Opposite Target, there is also my favorite Mediterranean buffet restaurant "Dimassi". Closer to Beltway 8/Sam Houston tollway is an excellent restaurant "Cava", mediterranean delicious food. In short, I loved the place and would stay here again - many thanks!

Negative: The balcony door goes heavy and difficult to close - once fixed, everything would be just perfect. Oh, and the windows are single-glazed, so noise from the street (although as said quiet overall) still penetrates. That didn't bother me at all since I always carry my earplugs for sleep.
