Positive: Location is fabulous and the views and windows were spectacular! The hot tub with a view was fantastic and the home had mostly everything we needed to have a comfortable stay.

Negative: I’m allergic to dogs and had to take allergy medicine while staying there. We knew it was pet friendly but it hasn’t been an issue in the past. The hot tub also was too low and we had to fill it more and reset it to get it to work.

Negative: The deck needs work, like a lot of work. Rotting boards, splintery wood, deck screws popping out (accident waiting to happen), TV never worked, telephone had to be disconnected because it would give out audible commands about channels or some such thing. We love the place though and will continue top book. Check out is a bit early for such a late check in time...IMO.

Negative: Took 45 minutes to access home through a representative. Instructions sent via phone and email were inaccurate, confusing. Link did not work as we were standing outside the home with no wifi and barely any cell service. The lock box code should have been provided 24 hours before checkin.

Positive: The location!!!! (it's the best-situated house I've stayed at in Yachats and I've stayed there A LOT) The fenced yard for the dog :) :) :) The 50+ buoys 💖💖💖. The house was in solid shape and all the amenities were nicer and more functional than I'd predicted from pics or experienced at a lot of other OR coastal rentals( eg the knives are actually sharp ;) My new midlife love and I will be staying there again I hope - it was wonderful.

Negative: For initial entry, it was a bit of a kerfuffle. Instructions were in Vacassa app but confusing, suggesting using keypad to left of door but was the old-school kind and the one needed is on the actual doorknob, which you can't see til opening the screen door.

Summary: 50+buoys and a gorgeous fenced yard frame this perfectly located spacious well-appointed bungalow :)

Positive: The best thing for us was the fenced yard and the ability to bring our dogs, and the view. I thought the dog kennel was a great idea and while we didn't use it it was great for my open suitcase. I enjoyed the hot tub but would have liked some instructions for using it. (more than the posted rules)

Negative: We ran out of Kleenex and almost ran out of toilet paper. I would have liked a mirror in the master bedroom.

Positive: Patty's Sea Perch is a delightful discovery! It not only met, but exceeded our expectations, in every way. Very clean, and well maintained, with lots of lovely extras here. Comfortable beds, plus all kitchen, bath and laundry amenities. The stormy ocean view from the windows that span completely across the front of the house, was spectacular and mesmerizing. Our 2 dogs were right at home in front of the fireplace (bring your own wood), loved their little front yard, and daily walks along Yachats Ocean Drive. The hot tub was a dream. Sparkling clean, and as I sat in it each evening to star gaze and enjoy the ocean spray on my face, I've got to say, it seemed a bit magical!

Negative: The only 2 "problems" we encountered were: 1) Figuring out all the 4 of the TV remotes, just to get the TV to work! Better instructions for this, please! Don't need to spend 15 minutes, trying to figure which remote goes with what, just to get music, movies, and/or TV. (This was resolved however, with a call to guest services, in which Tiffany kindly guided us through the process....). 2) Upon arrival, and getting our dogs out of the car from the long drive, we were happy to see we could quickly get them out into the front fenced yard to potty! The front yard however, was FULL of dog poop, just about everywhere you stepped. Now, I don't really feel like this is the house cleaners' job to pick up! Whatever is wrong with previous guests who can't/don't/won't pick up their own dogs' waste for disposal, and to simply Care about the next guest arrival? Perhaps Patty's needs a POSTED sign at the front and back doors to remind guests with dogs, of this very uncourteous behavior. (This also was resolved when we called house cleaners back to pick up the yard. Much of the poo was missed however, and I went through to pick up a Full bagful after they left.)

Summary: I would be happy to book this lovely property and it's location again, for a summer experience!
