Positive: The villa apartment was very comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. Our host, Mr. Thomas, was exceptionally friendly yet discreet, making us feel at home. He also provided many thoughtful recommendations on how to spend our days on the island and which sights we should not miss before our departure, given our limited time. This is why we are very grateful to Mr. Thomas!

Positive: 3 lovely beaches within walking distance. Absolutely lovely facilities for our stay. Particularly the bedroom. They have also a wonderful outside patio for both the room as well as the entire facility..

Negative: Grikos, where the facility is located, has NO markets. Since the villas have a small kitchen if you want to get supplies you have to travel 3.5 kilometres to the port to get them. We didn't realize B&B's charged for breakfasts. And expensively. But perhaps we didn't read the fine print and we're not experienced. It didn't matter for us and had nothing to do with our selection. We don't usually stay in B&B's.

Positive: Spacious clean rooms, well equipped, very helpful owner who picked us up from the ferry port.

Negative: Not much to dislike. We arrived at the end of the season and the bars and restaurants in the village were closed which was disappointing but the port was only 5mins drive in hire car so not a big problem.

Summary: Stunning island, easy to explore, lovely beaches.

Positive: Perfect place to stay on patmos island. Everything was amazing, we felt excellent. Thomas the host was exceptional, he is very kind, friendly, always helpful, he made us feel at home. Him and his parents are amazing people. Can't describe how good our vacation was. 3 minutes walking distance to the beach, it's a quiet place, you have all the parking spots you want. The inner court is a wonderful garden with lots of trees and flowers. We talked to other guests and many of them were guests here before. Can't wait next year to come back!

Negative: Maybe we will come back in september, when the water is warmer

Positive: Thomas met us off the ferry and dropped us back on the day we left. He and his family were first class hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spacious and one of the best we've had in many years of travelling the Greek Islands. Patmos is a beautiful island.
