Positive: Clean, spacious apartment. Bed is comfortable. Great host. Great location. Good shower.

Negative: Needs something other than thick comforter on the bed. Layers. Got too hot at night even with the temp set at 17C. The TV is in an awkward location. Almost unusable where it is now. The person above is loud and stomps around in the morning. Poor sound insulation from above.

Positive: Location, host was very hospitable, she left snacks and coffee pods for us. There was also wine and beer available. Host checked on us throughout the stay, to make sure everything was to our liking.

Negative: Only one window, even though it was a whole wall, and there was plenty of light during the day. Kitchen no quite ready for cooking, more suitable for warming up things.

Positive: What an absolute privilege it was to stay at The Passage. The apartment is a beautiful blend of old and new, full of charm and enhanced by tasteful design and artwork throughout. It felt luxurious, comfortable, and homely all at once — we truly didn’t want to leave. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions. Although we initially had trouble finding the details (as Booking.com only shows correspondence via email, not in the app), Marielle responded quickly and was incredibly helpful. The location is fantastic, with so much to see in the area and just 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of amazing food options — from casual eats to Michelin-starred restaurants.

Positive: Location and key instructions were precise and easy to follow. The room is very spacious, tons of room. The facilities exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic, close to the main square. Everything is within walking distance.

Negative: Frankly the place is marvelous. We stayed two nights with no complaints. The manager was easy to communicate with via Booking portal. She is very responsive.
