About this space
Perfect brand new holiday home for a relaxing family break. 50 yards from the famous Greatstone beach and in a fabulous location for visiting the wonderful Kent vineyards, the medieval town of Rye, historic Hastings, all whilst having fun attractions to suit the whole family on your doorstep. Take a walk through the world renowned nature reserves of Dungeness and Rye Harbour, or sample some of the local cuisine, including Dungeness crab or oysters; 'Whistlestop-by-the-sea' has it all!
The space
Brand new open planned living space with all modern appliances. The garden is completely enclosed so is safe for both children and pets.
There is a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom which is perfect for any guests that may struggle a little with stairs.
Lovely patio doors from the lounge open up onto a spacious terrace and garden which is perfect for evening drinks or dining.

Guests have access to the whole of the detached property.
Supermarkets
There is a local shop with all the basics in the next road. The nearest supermarket is in New Romney.
Local Restaurants
Just along the coast road is the highly rated Pilot Inn. Even closer is the Varne Fish and chip shop in the next road. Further along into Greatstone or the opposite direction to Lydd, there are a variety of takeaways, restaurants and pubs.
Local Attractions
Take a trip on the Romney, Hythe, Dymchurch railway to Dungeness or Hythe. The Dengemarsh sound mirrors within the Rspb reserve can be seen and accessed from the end of the road. Rspb visitor centre and hide is nearby in Dungeness. Dungeness lighthouse and Prospect cottage. Many many lovely walks and bicycle routes all around. The beach is a minute walk away.
Trains
Miniature railway of the RHDR can be boarded at Dungeness, New Romney, Dymchurch and Hythe. The nearest mainline is Appledore Station which is 20 minutes away. This takes you to Hastings one way and Ashford International the other.
Buses
There is a bus stop at the end of the road which runs from Dover to Rye.

Summary: We had a lovely stay over New Year’s Eve with our 10 month old baby and friends. The host was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. I will say the pictures do not do this place justice. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the interior was very clean. 6 very happy guests.

Summary: We loved our stay - property was delightful, loved the local-themed wall art. The house has 3 lovely bedroom, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, nice outdoor space. The property was spotless. My son enjoyed having Netflix and prime on the tv! The best boy for us was being 2 minutes walk from the beach which we loved! And bring next door to the tiny train line! Amazing fish and chips at the Varne fish bar and we enjoyed visiting the old lighthouse, the listening ears and had a nice meal at the pilot inn. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
