Positive: The views from the bedroom windows are mersmerising! The garden is full of birds and it's so peaceful! The house is beautifully styled with antique furniture that makes it so cosy and full of character. Jenny is adorable! And she can't do enough for you.

Positive: Quirky and cosy - great hospitality from Jen. Well appointed kitchen but make sure you ask how to put the heating on! Best to use the 'what 3 words' app to find it, which Jen sent.

Negative: The stony track to get there. It is very remote but near where we wanted to go so not a problem for us. Best to reverse into the drive as awkward otherwise (turn at the end of the lane).

Positive: Lovely cosy cottage with loads of character. Jennie was very friendly with two friendly dogs Skipper and Elsie. It was really convenient for Loton Park hill climb.

Negative: Not so much a dislike but beware that there is a slightly bumpy lane to the cottage that Jennie did warn us of. But we had no problems in our Ford Mondeo

Positive: Absolutely perfect, idyllic hideaway stay in a beautiful, totally original home. Everywhere was full of character and the outdoor spaces were unique with something interesting to see and find in every corner. Jennie, the owner was so friendly and all the personal touches were so welcome. I'd definitely stay here again. A complete haven and escape from the world.
