Summary: The cabin was warm and comfortable It was well equiped. The road getting to it was narrow but manageable with care. The road surface was good. The view from the front was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating as we booked this cabin over an alternative due to the kitchen. The crockery/cutlery/cookware were dirty. The dining chairs were filthy, so much so we didn’t want to sit on them. The tablecloth was also really grubby. The shower was dirty. Rubbish was left under the bed, in the kitchen drawers and behind the tv cabinet. A hoover would have been useful, as the floor brush could only be used in the laminated living areas, but the floor brush could also do with being replaced with an indoor floor brush. It’s such a shame, as the cabin has so much potential, it just needs some love! We would love to come back one day, maybe one of the other cabins are a bit more updated than Cabin 2?!

Summary: Lovely cabin, equipped with everything we needed for a couple of nights. No towels, but we knew that as communication beforehand was really good. The area is lovely, with horses on the premises and great walking around.

Summary: The cabins were beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Access to the place with narrow lanes to be aware of. Also.. access down the drive in could do with repair. No good in a low level car. Overall 9 / 10.

Summary: lodge was clean and kitchen was well stocked ie pots pans ect. only down was access as it was a farm track car parking almost in yard . beautiful location pony tracking on site very good .is most defiantly rural 2'5 miles to nearest shop .
