Summary: Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, von dem riesigen Garten aus sieht man sowohl Bergpanorama als auch aufs Meer. Man sollte sich allerdings nicht vor engen Bergstraßen fürchten (Tipp: nach GPS-Koordinaten statt Adresse navigieren, sonst landet man auf einem Feldweg ohne Wendemöglichkeit). Die einsame Lage garantiert dann einen ruhigen Aufenthalt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Internet ist lückenhaft und die Küche etwas ältlich, aber das stört kaum. Platz reichlich für 4 Personen.

Summary: Für alle, die Natur mögen: Mitten im Nationalpark Apuanische Alpen mit tollen Wanderwegen. Aber auch Strand und Städte wie Lucca, Pisa oder Florenz gut erreichbar. Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeber mit Korb voll Salat und Zucchini zur Begrüßung. Tolle Bergkulisse mit Glühwürmchen nachts ... Reisetipps: Auch schön: Torre di Lago Puccini oder die Wandbilder in Casoli. Wanderweg zur Grotte oder zum Matanna. Essen sehr gut (Supermarkt Esselunga in Lido de Camaiore, gute Restaurants in der Nähe)

Summary: Die Unterkunft war wirklich ausgesprochen reizend und wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber und die Küche auch ausreichend ausgestattet. Zur Anfahrt sollte man unbedingt wissen, dass man nach dem Ortsteil Casoli, der bereits auf über 400 hm liegt, noch ein ordentliches Stück den Berg hinauf muss. Da unser Navi leider versagte, daher folgender Anreisehinweis: In Camiore der Ausschilderung des Ortsteil Casoli folgen (es geht steil bergan!) und direkt bis zum Ortszentrum von Casoli (Blick auf in einer Kurve liegenden Campanile/Kirchturm mit davor liegendem Parkplatz), also immer bergauf !!! fahren – die Straße macht hier eine scharfe Kurve und man folgt dem Weg weiter bergauf. Hier kommt man an einem sehr kleinen, am Hang gelegenen Restaurant vorbei und nach ca. 300 m geht rechte Hand die Zielstraße (Via de Mezanna) ab. Auch hier muss man der sehr scharfen Kurve weiter bergan folgen und kommt an einigen Gehöften/Häusern vorbei. Folgt man der Straße, gelangt man automatisch an eine Kurve, in der ein altes Wasserbecken liegt und sich links daneben eine Privatgrotte mit Madonna befindet. Hier muss man die Straße verlassen und scharf links zum Ferienhaus hochfahren. Reisetipps: Der ostseeverwöhnte Deutsche ist sicherlich von der berühmten Versilia sehr enttäuscht – als Badeurlaub bedingt geeignet. Auch da hier die italienische Strandpolitik mit den Bagnis ziemlich nervt und FREIE !!! Parkplätze in Strandnähe ein absoluter Glückfall sind. Weiter südlich von Viarregio kann man noch Glück haben,muss aber eben eine gewisse Wegstrecke mit dem Auto zurücklegen. Auch hier können die Wegen vom Parken bis ans Meer sehr weit sein! Vorher besser gut auf Online–Kartenmaterial angucken.Pisa ist super zu erreichen, Parkmöglichkeiten eigentlich auch kein Problem. Sehr zu empfehlen. Lucca ist auch ortsnah, aber fällt hinter Pisa weit zurück – aber ist sicher Geschmackssache. Unbedingt ansehen: Carrara mit den Steinbrüchen und den Ort Colonnata. Sehr beeindruckend. Die Berge ums Haus bieten tolle Wanderwege,allerdings ist die Ausschilderung sehr mangelhaft bis ungenügend. Tip: Direkt in der Kurve bergan nach Casoli (am Ristorante Emilia & Bona) abbiegen und der Klamm des Lambriccesi (oä) folgen – Badesachen für die tollen Becken des Flusses nicht vergessen!!!Supermärkte waren unserer Meinung nach schwer zu finden, daher besser vorher gut versorgen.
