Old stone farmhouse completely renovated, (CIN: IT046005C27KWY5CSD) surrounded by olive trees, in a small village on the first hill of Camaiore, 365 meters above sea level, from where you can admire a splendid view of the sea, the Versilia valley and the Apuan Alps. The house is about 70 square meters, on the ground floor kitchen with gas oven, 5 burners, refrigerator, dishwasher and small pantry. Living room with sofa, pouf-bed, satellite TV, DVD, fireplace. On the first floor double bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds that can be separated, equipped with air conditioning and sheets. Bathroom with shower, equipped with linen Laundry corner with washing machine. The large garden, from where you can enjoy the view in complete tranquility, equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers, pergola where you can have lunch with barbecue corner and slide for the little ones. In the spring/summer period (from May 18th to September 6th), guests can enjoy an inflatable hydromassage pool (diameter 180 cm, height 66 cm), where they can relax.
In the nearby village of Pedona, reachable on foot along a path of about 1 km, there are two minimarkets, and a typical Tuscan restaurant.
The nearby cities are: Pietrasanta (12km), Viareggio (13km), Lucca (25 km), Pisa (30 km), Florence (90 km). The owners live in the adjacent house, and will be happy to welcome you with a small welcome, they are available for any advice and more.
In the winter the house is supplied with wood for the fireplace.

Summary: This was our second stay with Marco and Ilaria, this time again with our older dog. We were welcomed with delicious cake and new varieties of pizza – absolutely wonderful after a long journey. We had truly missed this little paradise, where everything is thoughtfully taken care of. Every day we were happily visited by Dora the dog or Furio the cat, which made the stay even more special. We would love to come back for a third time!

Summary: My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. When I called Marco to let him know that we would be delayed, he quickly came to the rescue and picked us up and drove us to the villa. After dropping us off to get settled, he went back to our car and replaced our flat tire and drove our car back to the villa.Marco and his wife’s concern for us was more than we could have ever expected from a host. We are truly grateful for their kindness.. The property matched their personality, warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that they made it a point to check in on us to make sure we were ok.The accommodations were impeccable and the views were amazing! It was a nice place to relax and unwind before we continued our travels. We would definitely return!

Summary: Although the area was a little confusing to get to, and you definitely need a small vehicle to get through the streets, you end up on the top of the hill overlooking the Valley out to the sea. Marco and his wife were very welcoming and even made homemade pizza for dinner with us. The little house itself is two stories with multiple layers of stairs Which could be hard for some, but was just fine for us. Perfect for a couple who wants a little quiet time and a beautiful area. Just definitely bring bugs.

Summary: Marco and Ilaria were so lovely! They welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake and a pizza from their own oven that was unbelievably delicious. That evening we sat comfortably with them in the garden and ate pizza. Marco and Ilaria also gave us great tips for excursions. Their dog Dora is so sweet. She comes to greet you in the garden every day. She got on really well with our old dog. The house is magical and leaves nothing to be desired. The view and the garden are indescribably beautiful and quiet. The drive to the house is a little adventurous, but can be easily mastered with the right car. Our conclusion: see you next year :)

Summary: We have been there with our 2 kids and dog for 3 very impressive and nostalgic days. We enjoyed the breath-taking view, the open fire place, the big garden and the warm and helpful kindness of the hosts. Our dog liked to play with the hosts' dog. We will go back there for a longer time.

Summary: This space was authentically rustic and very livable. Modern kitchen conveniences, comfortable beds, plenty immediate hot water & pressure. Large outdoor space was equipped for relaxed viewing the expanse of Viareggio/Ligurian Sea in day & a plethora of twinkling nighttime lights. The host and hostess were attentive and available providing ready assistance. The yummy pound cake and fresh fruit: a special touch.. We enjoyed evenings by fireside and ample wood was supplied. For us, 3 women, more shower soap and heat on the first floor would be welcomed. However the ample supply of blankets more then adequately sufficed. I highly recommend planning your initial arrival in the day light hours to enjoy the view while ascending and to be able to see the road as there are no white lines, pedestrians and scooters use the very narrow circuitous 2-way road. Our hostess thankfully met us in her car at the most severe right turn to finish the ascent to their place. That was a big help. They also helped us carry our luggage up the slight incline from the parking space. In addition the ground floor is just that. The first floor is up steep narrow-ish steps with a sturdy railing. Good mobility is essential for this place and well worth the views and serene setting. In all it was ideal for us to have a respite from city touring in Milan, Florence, Pisa and Lucca…all essential stops. The rustic part was in the Italianate construction of exposed stone walls. It certainly was great!
