Positive: The rental was excellent!! The hosts were beyond kind and helpful! They truly made our experience exceptionally great! The place was clean, homey and had the most beautiful view!! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, the back yard, looking at the bunnies outside and the eagles in the trees! Reenie was so helpful in explaining everything and checking on us. And we really enjoyed speaking to John out on the property each time we saw him. He was funny, kind and they were just an overall a great couple to meet! We look forward to our next trip at their cabin! Thank you both!!

Negative: The only down side was leaving lol it was sad to walk away from that beautiful view but it’s just getting us excited about our next trip down!

Positive: EVERYTHING!!!! The two bedroom, 2 full bathroom house has a million dollar view, especially from the hot tub, the kitchen window, and the large window in the living room. They also have a large television with direct tv and WiFi , but we never turned it on because the Kachemak Bay was breath-taking! The house is decorated with beautiful Alaska Native artifacts, and the kitchen is equipped with beautiful plates and glasses. However, the best part of our stay was the hospitality of both John and Reenie, the owners. They welcomed us into their home, were happy to help with information about Homer, and respected our privacy. We could not have stayed in a more perfect place! I cannot wait to return…two days is way too short. If you choose to stay here, you won’t regret it!

Negative: Nothing, except it was difficult to leave the house because it was so fabulous! I forgot to mention the walking path through the garden…it was gorgeous!

Positive: The location was excellent. It was just a few minutes outside of Homer with amazing views of the ocean from the living room and hot tub. There was plenty of seating for our party of six, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and there was a washer and a dryer available in the house. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We look forward to visiting again!
