Positive: The location is unbeatable! I would go so far as to say this is the best located house in all of Pearly Beach. Just a walk across the dunes to get to the pristine beach with perfect shells and waves. Fresh fish from Gansbaai barbecued to perfection on the beautiful outdoor grill was amazing. The owners and housekeepers are responsive, very helpful and friendly. This is world class!

Negative: I totally understand the relaxed vibe and lived in feel of the house but it needs a bit of maintenance (light bulbs here and there, broken blender, musty smell in downstairs main bedroom, outdoor pillows and throws need a wash) especially as it is so close to the sea. After a few days, though, you forget the issues because it's so beautiful. It's just a suggestion.

Summary: This house is great for a big family with loads of space and fantastic views.

Positive: Stayed for the weekend with a group of gals for a bachelorette weekend and had the most amazing time! The setting is incredible, the private access to the almost private beach was dreamy, and the amount of seating and sleeping space was fantastic. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating, would recommend!

Negative: Could have used more pods for the dishwasher but furthermore, nothing :)
