Positive: Breakfast was very good. Appreciated having a choice with the included breakfast. Cold water in the dispenser of filling water bottles was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great for walking to the beach.

Positive: The atmosphere and clientelle is awesome. Staff is helpful, does also speak English. Private room is very nice, with nice bathroom and functioning AC. Location is great.

Negative: Didn’t like the dorms too much. Also wished they had more surfboards for rent for beginner/intermediate.

Summary: If you’re traveling alone, STAY HERE

Positive: Location was pretty great and the value was top notch. Very short walk to the beach. I parked my car at the other Papaya hotel in Surf City which no one seemed to have a problem with. Room was pretty spacious.

Negative: As may be typical in El Salvador there was no hot water in the shower, though it was pleasant enough.

Summary: Quick walk to the beach at a decent price makes this worthwhile.
