Summary: The room was pretty clean, but there were a few long hairs on the floor which was a little off putting. A few things missing from the room, like a pen and notepad, ice bucket, instructions for the coffee maker, a booklet describing hotel amenities and general information from the area. These things were not necessary, but would have been appreciated. Biggest dissatisfaction was the bed and pillows! The mattress was so soft and the pillows, terribly lumpy. I woke up with a sore neck, which a week later is still bothering me! Definitely in need of improvement considering the whole reason for a hotel room- A good night’s sleep! However being able to store our luggage before checkin and after checkout was absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful.. it is a lovely old hotel, but modern bathroom. Convenient to the downtown core which is what we were looking for. Just wish the bed had been more comfortable.

Summary: I enjoyed the breakfast menu and it was priced fair. The hours are that good for early risers. The food made up for that. Overall pretty good for bar and breakfast. Did not eat anything else.
