Summary: Wonderful, EXTREMELY well-stocked place for a family retreat. We were in the area for the 2025 World Jr Hockey Championships and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Views across the lake in the wintertime were gorgeous! Would love to come back in the summer and try the fishing!!!

Summary: Considering the amenities, this is more a house than cottage. Very comfortable beds. Truly appreciate things like boxes of tissues, shampoo and conditioner, comfy blankets, tons of glassware, dishes, towels. Clear lake water, no weeds, making for great swimming, kayaking, boating. Clear and concise information from the hosts made our arrival and departure super easy. All the comforts one can ask for. Definitely recommend!

Summary: My husband stayed for a week with my mother (70), daughters (10 & 13), chosing the place mostly because my mother has terrible allergies to animals. It was perfect! Not only was it clean, we had plenty of room and privacy with her downstairs and us in the upstairs bedrooms, the lake was clear and the beach gave us easy access and a place to play, we kayaked, watched wildlife (blue heron, loons, wood ducks, mallards, black and brown squirrels, gang of Canada Geese, etc.), cooked, bbq'd, played games, watched movies all together and watching the stunning sunsets! Ken was responsive and helpful and the house is very well kept and stocked! We will come back hopefully next year!

Summary: We had an amazing week. It was a beautiful place, well organized and stocked, clean and right by the water. The neighbourhood was peaceful. The views of the sunsets were magical. We had the pleasure to see a royal eagle, herons, ducks and so many other beautiful birds. Make sure you bring your binoculars. The water was so clear you could see your toes. Thank you so much for making our stay such a memorable one. Thank you also for the quick responses when we had a question or two. B🌻

Summary: This is a beautiful location to enjoy the lake. It is a close drive to Perth where there are quaint shops and grocery stores. We highly recommend it.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay & visited towns/villages like Perth, Smith Falls, Carleton Place, etc. & the Rideau Canal Locks. people were all very friendly & helpful. The responses from the owner & manager were very prompt. We missed being able to watch the normal TV stations like CBC, CTV, Global, PBS & TVO. The lake is too shallow for a long distance so could not do any fishing as we needed a boat. The cottage was very clean & modern with everything except a tea pot, spatula & more mugs & better forks(too dull). We highly recommend this very nice property. Thanks.

Summary: Beautiful property with well stocked kitchen. The property manager was quick to respond to any matters. Sunsets were unbelievable! Location of property is close to many quaint towns and less than an hour to Ottawa.

Summary: This home was comfortable, had everything you could think of. Had a wonderful time sitting and watching the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The MOST relaxing vacation we have ever taken. The host was so helpful and responsive. I can't think of anything I would change. We will be sure to stay again next time we are in Ontario.
