Beautiful home located 2 blocks to beach with public staircase providing direct access to Alki, with public transportation and free water taxi shuttle. Currently offering longer term stays up to 2 months if there is availability, inquire for pricing. Clean and updated 3 bedroom 1.75 bathroom home with fantastic views. Top floor has full bathroom with jetted tub and two bedrooms, one with Queen bed and other room has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have outstanding panoramic views of beach, sound and mountains. Main floor has a nice updated kitchen with water and mountain views, gas range.. The living room and dining room have water and mountain views, French doors to large deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs. Basement is set up as an open door master suite with queen bed and queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress, 3/4 bathroom with heated floors and large shower. Also from the master you have French doors to lower patio with chairs and garden space.

Summary: Updated house was clean with plenty of kitchen and laundry supplies, the owners were quick to respond, and neighborhood was quiet. Living area has a lot of natural light. Bedrooms have nice (somewhat distant) views of the Sound. The walk to the beach is down several flights of stairs, but also within a short drive. Our only complaint was that the upstairs bedpillows could use an update; hopefully they will for the next guests! Nice place.

Summary: The cottage is so cute and quaint. The location was perfect. There were stairs leading straight to the beach which we utilized often. Proximity to downtown and Alki beach was great. The cottage had parking, great views, and was very serene. A/C was appreciated on the warmer days. The only thing to be aware is that the streets are narrow, and can be challenging at times, but I would def stay here again.

Summary: This house worked great for our three kids and us. You can walk to the beach easily. The streets are a little gnarly for driving, but the views from the house are absolutely gorgeous.

Summary: Our family enjoyed everything about our rental house, the view, deck with a grill, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen since we cooked many nights and easy access by walking to Alki Beach. So many great adventures so close, whale watching, Mt Rainer hiking, swimming and fire pits at Alki Beach. Our host was helpful and highly responsive.
