Summary: swimming pool is like public swimming pool with lots of neighbohood kids having lessons, if you are looking for a nice outdoor swimming pool to chill and relax, this is not for you.

Summary: This hotel is in a beautiful setting and I would highly rate it except for two issues. One is that the air conditioning does not go lower than 23 Celsius. We tried 2 rooms and same result so it is a hotel wide lower limit. You cannot have 19 or 20 Celsius. Second is that the very nice pool is overrun with kids taking formal swim lessons. Multiple groups of them. The hotel seems to be running a side business of a community swim club. Very unpleasant for hotel guests, especially us as we filtered our hotel search for hotels with pools since July hot weather.

Summary: Really helpful and kind staff. Free breakfast buffet that had a gorgeous spread with food from Asian and Western cuisines. The property is magnificent, really embodying the hallmarks of Jiangnan architecture.
Angie Jun 24, 2026 04:10:12 PM
Summary: -The room was smaller than most five or four and a half star hotels, and the fact that the elevator only goes to the lobby and guests have to change to another elevator for the fitness center or other places was very troublesome. It wasn't easy to find our bearing in the hotel with how the hotel was designed. -The room looked a bit rundown with with the condition of the carpet and furniture -The hotel architecture itself was beautiful with a 4A garden behind it -The complimentary hanfu experience was a pleasant surprise. Taking photos within the hotel is an activity on its own. -The fitness center had functional tools like Swiss balls and massage rollers but it wasn't open 24 hours. It closed at 10:30pm. A point to note for those who like to work out or a good stretch at night -The check-in was slow and a bit inefficient.

Summary: The hotel design is full of local history elements but still comfortable in modern sense. Services are excellent, staff are helpful. Room is big and quiet. Laundry facility is helpful for long stay. Location is convenient to the subway stations

Summary: The room was clean but as the hotel is huge.. walking to the room esp for elderly is quite long if at the end from the lobby. We booked 3 rooms. Stay at 4066 and 4060 and 4084. Swimming pool is decent with indoor pool available too. Cafe is great. Breakfast selection can be better. There is a lady call Mia at concierge desk who is really excellent and helpful. There a metro Walking from the hotel in 12 min est. Best is the free entry to the garden from the hotel.

CLEMSON Jun 2, 2026 05:04:09 PM
Summary: The hotel is a replica of an ancient Suzhou villa and garden. It is a huge resort and offers many fun facilities. We visited the Han dynasty clothing experience center which lends one guest one free hour of Han dynasty ancient clothing to try out. That was a lot of fun and we shot many pics in the ancient garden. The manager was so nice and generous and offered 2 guests in our party of the same service. I heartily recommend this hotel.
