Positive: Fantastic experience of staying in a countryside log house. The roads in nearby are beautiful in winter. The cabin is very warm, comfortable and cosy cabin in winter. Nice place in winter. We have heard nice things about stays in summer too. Good pressure for shower and a nice sauna. Nice and welcoming host.

Summary: Amazing host. Very clean, comfortable cosy and warm cabin. Great for children to play outside…

Positive: Place couldn't be better. Excellent location and views outside from the living room are great. Also I really have to say that the cabin is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. Large kitchen, high ceiling (so air indoors is good), washing machines etc. I don't think there are better places available so close to Lemmenjoki. Really liked it in here.

Negative: The other bedroom is really small, but it worked fine for us. Large living room compensated nicely.

Positive: The property is just stunning, lovely modern deco and so practical too, has everything you could possibly need. The location by the river is second to none, so quiet with amazing views. Travelled as a family 2+2, the kids had plenty of space in the house to play, but mostly spent their time outdoors exploring the area. The host is so nice. Let us see her reindeers as well as told us a lot about the area, Sami way of life, and her beautiful artwork. We would love to come back in summer to see the nature reserve in a different season.

Positive: Stayed in “superior chalet”. an outstanding (felt like brand new) well appointed spacious cabin. excellent views overlooking a burbling stream and by itself, on a different location to other chalets. 1.5km from Paltto. Received a warm welcome and escort to the property. No wifi but a strong 4g signal so no problems if have data on a device. appreciated the art on the walls.

Negative: two bunk beds are in a very small room - didn’t affect us as stayed in main bedroom.

Summary: Extremely comfortable in a beautiful, peaceful location.
