Positive: Amazing view, great beach bar and a fantastic restaurant right next door. You can swim off the rocks at the bottom of the garden or Vagia beach is a ten minute walk away with serviced beach loungers and two restaurants. The garden is huge and the barbecue area is a real plus.

Negative: The nearest supermarket is a couple of km away, so renting bicycles or a scooter is recommended.

Summary: Fantastic stay.

Positive: Everything was wonderful! The hosts were very nice, they responded promptly to our requests during our stay. The house is very beautiful, equipped with everything you could need (air conditioning in each room, fully equipped kitchen, 2 functional bathrooms serving 3 rooms in the house, as well as 1 bathroom serving the guest room in the basement). The nearest beach is 1 minute walk from the property, it is a beach with both sand and stone, very suitable for children considering that the water is shallow (the entrance to the water is in a small cove very suitable for children of all ages). At a very short distance (I think 10 m) there is a good Greek tavern. Another very good tavern where you can serve fish is Aiolos, 10 min walk from the property. Thank you to the hosts for your kindness, we will come back as soon as possible!

Positive: We spent one week in this idyllic house. Everything about it is exactly as described. The place is spotless, spacious, and the location is incredible. We loved the outdoor space from the deck to the beautiful seating areas on the lawn. The proximity to the beach - just a few metres away on foot - made it extra special. We swam every day. We walked up the Temple (1 hour on foot) for our exercise. We ate dinners at the amazing restaurant just outside the gate of the house. We cooked breakfasts at home and ate while looking at the ocean. There is nothing we would change about this rental, except we wish we could have stayed longer than a week.

Positive: Amazing property right on the beach from where you can watch breathtaking sunsets. We had an amazing week at Palmaya Villa. It is situated right on the beach, across is a very nice taverna, 50m to a sandy small beach where you can have breakfast and a coffee, very god beach for children, 6 minutes by car to supermarket...you have everything you might need. Not to mention the property itself that looks amazing. You can make barbeque, enjoy the breakfast on the nice terrace, relax in the yard. Christina, the host and her husband were very nice and helpful and always replied to any questions we might have. Thank you for everything. Most probably the best accommodation from the Island.

Positive: We loved the location, the house and its territory. It is right on the seafront, there is a sandy beach one minute away on foot. The views from the house is stunning. All the items in the house are traditional Greek and make it feel very cosy and lovely. Literally in front of the house there is a taverna with delicious local food. There are 2 other tavernas nearby. There is a cosy beach cafe one min walk from the house serving drinks and light snacks all day. It is perfect for both, families with and without kids. Hosts had a bunch of kids’ sand toys put at the guests’ disposal which was very practical. There is a lot of room to park a car/van on the property as well as outside the property. The host was super caring and helpful, it was a fabulous stay.

Negative: Some of the doors were old and squeaky and hard to open.

Summary: We loved our stay at the Villa Palmaya. The house is lovely and the sea views are stunning.

Positive: The large garden surrounding the villa with all the nice spots to eat and relax seemed to belong to a MTV cribs villa, it was just spectacular. It's unbelievable to stay in a villa with such an amazing garden so close to the sea, with an almost private beach with stones next to it, and a little sandy beach next-door. Just too good to be true. We miss it every day! :)
