Positive: You can see the sunrise and sunset from the house. It is a verry clean and verry well equiped house and kitchen. A beautiful garden and sea view. We had alot of towells, bedesheeds for changing, all the necessary objects in bathrooms and in kitchen. It is a quiet place, you can hear only the sea, and in time to time the plaines on the busy sky to Athens. The road to the house is a little bit difficult if you have a bigger car, but it’s ok. If you plan a vacantion in a nice and comfortable house, spacious and with taste all the design of the house, near the sea, with a bay to swim only for you, a savage beach and an amazing view, choose Marfaia Villa.

Negative: When the winds are stronger, in the nights, its difficult to sleep because of the noise of the windows shutters. Chryss, the host is verry nice and prompt if we need something but, we didn’t know when we’ve booked the property that the house owner is also living in the groundfloor ( is like the basement) of the house. Is verry discreet and did not bother us but it would be useful to have this information when booking for the property.

Positive: Chryss kept in contact before the stay and then met us with the keys and explained everything we needed to know about the house. We decided not to hire a car and she helped us with the local bus timetable which runs twice a day to the aegina town. One day we got the bus in went to moni island for the day then got a a taxi (18 euros) back to the house. Its a little bit of a walk to the supermarket but it's fine if you have rucksacks and aren't buying lots at once, in the summer months this may be quite difficult. We did lots of walking from the house, you can walk to the temple of aphaia from here. There's an amazing swimming beach not too far from the house next to an amazing bar and pizzeria that does the best pizza and grilled Meats. We absolutely loved out stay and left so relaxed. We spent most afternoons on the porch enjoying the sun and the stunning view and every evening watching the sun go down. The photos do not do the view justice. Chrys is an exceptional host and is very helpful.

Negative: Nothing it was perfect for us.

Summary: Excellent relaxing stay with gorgeous sea views.

Positive: I liked that we had almost everything inside and outside the villa, very nice view on the Sea and very calm feeling without any disturb from the surrounding. And overall the sympathic gesture!

Negative: What was not so good is the very small size of the bathrooms and the incredible amount of ants which was difficult to deal with!

Positive: House was clean and beautiful! Outstanding views of sunrise and sunset. Unusual to get both in one place, making it an ideal location. Really enjoyed the beach too. Chryssoula was very helpful with sharing chairs and umbrella with us. She also showed us where to do laundry which was a nice option to do for a long vacation. Coffee availabile and water when we arrived. Private beach was great, made for a relaxing day. At night, the views of the twinkling lights of Athens in background was nice while sitting out on patio with some drinks Wonderful hospitality. Very nice owner.

Negative: The room with the queen bed was a little too hard for our liking but all the decor and style was great. A house rule of nothing less than 22 degrees for the air conditioning made it a little uncomfortable. Also the air conditioning in the room with twin beds was not cooling the room only the fan was working. It was on West side of house so we understand and did not make a fuss. Additionally the road to the house is difficult, rough, and narrow but everything turned out fine. Our trip was still nice and wonderful. Would stay here again for sure.
