Negative: The service is really poor and not worth the money I paid. The entire place is not worth that money. Also the room is advertised as 60m2 and it is around 10m2 in reality.

Summary: I had a good time, but at this price point I do not recommend.

Positive: Has a lot of potential, nice room and restaurant decor and great food.

Negative: They didn’t tell us construction was going on during our visit, the email confirmation said it was during August not still going on in November. The waiting staff weren’t friendly and a lady on reception was quite rude too, the man on reception who checked us in was nice though. The construction workers also made me feel very uncomfortable, looking at me up and down in my bikini - which, given the location on the beach, is not unreasonable to be in!

Positive: The Hotel itself is great! Location is amazing- right between beach and jungle! We got an upgrade for free for the jungle immersion room (in the “tower”) and it was really beautiful! Sometimes, if they have volunteers, they plan events like “art & wine” or gamenights. Food is nice and there are also healthy options, that we liked. The beach right in front of the hotel is also very pretty and the water is very clear! Perfect to chill at the beach and in the water.

Negative: The staff was okay but not great! They did their job but nothing more than that. We booked the bioluminescence tour with the hotel and ask if they could bring us (2 young girls, in the dark) to the boat dock and pick us up there and they didn’t, because we arrived there at 10 and reception closes at 10. I guess it would have been not a big deal for them to pick us up- especially because we told them that we honestly found it creepy to walk through the jungle in the dark, even tho they say it’s safe, but of course it’s still nature and wildlife.
