Positive: Location was convenient for our trip, room was ok

Negative: Cockroaches in the room. Also there were no soap in the bathroom, only shower gel. When we asked for the soap we were given more shower gel. We stayed in the family room, and it was very small.

Positive: The managers were so lovely and understanding of my situation, they were super helpful and went above and beyond for my family during a really stressful time. My husband was flown down here 5 hours from home, i had my 3 daughters with me, he had a brain tumour removed after having a seizure and i am an autistic person who is used to rural life and at that point i didnt have much money or know what to do and the managers were so helpful and so supportive and understanding which made my life so much easier while going through so much stress.

Negative: There was only like 2 nights where some neighbouring guests were noisey with their cars at like midnight/1am but the staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the roadworks outside i dont think helps the business flow but thats beyond anyone working heres control. I didnt like one of the cleaning ladies (not the manager) i felt her to be rude and judgemental when at the end of the day I paid for my stay, I kept my room clean, I was non problematic and I was going through hell in my personal life, she is one of the drive in cleaners with teenage children

Positive: A very handy location at the Palm Valley Hotel in Tarro, out of the Sydney rush before heading up the north coast. Booked last minute at a very decent price. Room was spotless, comfortable bed, great bathroom, plenty of room. Kitchenette facilities perfect for our needs, plus close to dining within a few kilometres. We were worried the highway would keep us awake but it didn't, and super quick to access on and off. Friendly efficient staff made us feel welcome. Recommend for a clean comfy bed when on the road. Will come back.

Negative: Everything was fine. There was nothing past the neighbours in nearby rooms having a bit of a chat outside our room, but they were all packed in by 9pm. So no problems whatsoever. Highway traffic noise was not noticeable.

Positive: Easy to get to, straight off the highway. Service station nearby for petrol. Local main St just 2ish blocks over.

Negative: Perfect for what we needed. Stayed 1 night with my kids 10, 8 & 5. Pool available & clean. Room is small but has all you need. Bathroom had all facilities working. Just off the highway but we didn't notice traffic noise.
