Positive: It’s nestled behind the town, about a 10-min TukTuk or 20 min walk away. You’re in your own slice of paradise. The gardens are gorgeous and shelter you from a very quiet path surrounding the property and are beautifully kept. The pool is the perfect size for a bob about + again so clean. It’s got everything you could need for a longer stay as well, including a blender, pans etc. Each bedroom has its own bathroom + there’s plenty of space for chilling around. A really well thought through layout. The lovely lady comes twice a day to clean the gardens + pool. If you need drinking water, it will be topped up for you. She also helps with any of your other needs you only have to ask. WiFi was okay. There’s a lovely local restaurant down the road that deliver + the owners are so lovely, food is great. Tbh we lucked out finding this place and were trying to work out how we could stay longer.

From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. The property is surrounded by beautiful tropical animals, giving it a magical and peaceful atmosphere. Everything is always perfectly clean , the room was spotless, and the swimming pool was maintained to perfection and sparkling clean throughout our entire stay. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet calm and relaxing. Honestly, this is the best accommodation I have ever booked on Booking.com. One word: WOW.

Positive: We were initially hesitant to book Palm Serenity Villa due to the lack of reviews, but after staying here, we completely understand why – the guests before us had planned to stay a week and ended up staying for months! That’s how wonderful this place is. The villa is modern, spotless, and spacious, with a beautiful open-plan design, air-conditioned bedrooms, and everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, fridge, and even a washing machine. The fan-cooled living area opens onto a lovely outdoor space and private pool—a perfect spot to relax and listen to the many birds in the garden. We loved watching the kingfisher perched on the same post each morning, hearing peacocks in the distance, and seeing birds build nests right outside the house. It’s truly a nature lover’s paradise. The location is peaceful and tucked away, just off the main road. It’s around a 10–15-minute downhill walk to Tangalle, where you'll find plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach. For the walk back (especially with groceries), we recommend a Tuk Tuk. If you turn right out of the villa, the walk is shorter and more pleasant. What really made the stay special was the hospitality of the housekeeper and her family, who kept everything spotless and even brought us fresh pineapple from their garden. They were kind, helpful, and available when needed. The owner, who is building another beautiful villa next door, was also great with communication before and during our stay. This villa felt like a true home away from home—quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by nature, yet close to everything. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly, highly recommended!
