Positive: So the location is about 30 min north of the city of Tuy Hoa. In a little village with friendly people. Right at the beach....

Negative: The staff doesn't really care about anything.... They also don't seem to know anything... The receptionist clearly doesn't enjoy her job. She does what's necessary and nothing beyond. No smile, no friendlyness.... For the fact that this hotel is advertised as a surfing and kite surfing hotel during winter, it is strange that she has no idea they even have some surfing equipment in the backroom... There are two kites plus kiteboards, one long board, and one short board. The rooms are okay though we did find a cockroach... What bothers me most if the fact that there was a huge construction on the beach going on. Right in front of the pool. Two diggers worked all day long from 7-5. It was loud and trucks came by every 20 min to bring a load of huge stones. We tried to talk about it to the hotel. And only when we mentioned our unhappyness they started to offer us to check out early. I wished that the boss had done something in advance. There was also no notification about it. It was like they just ignored the truth until it was mentioned by guests.... That really bothers me... Other things: Breakfast is ok but not special at all.... Some stuff is tasty, some is not ok. For example if there is some kind of dip that you put out for the guests, and the ants start crawling into it: Dont just ignore it and bring it out every day.... I am sure there are other ways..... If someone drinks a coconut at the pool at 8 in the morning and the same empty coconut is still there at 4 PM, your staff is clearly unattentive. The pool is saltwater which is fine but there are lamps falling out to the bottom of the pool which gives me a weird feeling about electricity....

Summary: Overall a hotel with a great location once the diggers are gone, but unattentive staff....

Positive: We stayed here for 5 nights for the first time and experienced both the positive and the negative - mostly positive. It is quiet, relaxed, close to the beach. The beach and the room are clean and pretty. We experienced a real local village environment. Local people mostly swim early in the morning and after 15 o’clock - lots of people and food vendors on the beach otherwise almost the entire beach for us during the day. The food was ok and they used local ingredients - less customers meant less food selection on weekdays otherwise a bit of chaos at breakfast on the weekend. That's how it is when you visit another country, especially in a village - you have to tolerate a different type of culture and can't expect everything you want.

Negative: We experienced a lot of chaos during a power outage on the third day, when the power came back and accidentally destroyed the minibar and AC in many rooms. The staff tried to work hard to get the AC working again and it took many hours. The result was that we changed to a smaller room with AC, less payment and were very happy.

Summary: The staff don't speak much English, but they tried to help you as much as possible. All in all we were very happy. N

Positive: Great location, SUPER friendly staff, ok breakfast (again with SUPER staff ;-) VERY nice rooms, spotlessly clean great views, great beach....all in all a very pleasant surprise !

Negative: I can't think of anything. I will be back...... However. the Booking.com confirmation email 'informed' me that this property does not accept cash....Which is FALSE..... get your act together Booking.com

Positive: The sea view from our room was amazing and having stacking doors to the balcony made the room feel much larger. Staff were lovely and always helpful. We ate both nights at the hotel restaurant mainly as there were no other options around.

Negative: Breakfast wasn't much but we made do with what was available but that may have been because it was midweek and there weren't many other guests. Unfortunately there was a lot of plastic floating in the ocean which we spent some time removing from the water. There was a local lady cleaning the sand and we inspired some teenage girls to start collecting the rubbish too.

Positive: We absolutely loved it here. Was incredible. One of our favourite places we stayed in Vietnam. Stunning beach with crystal clear turquoise water and delicious food. The best breakfast I have had in Vietnam. We could have stayed for a long time. The pool was really nice. The rooms were so comfortable. The staff are so kind. It felt like paradise. Everything seemed brand new and clean and fresh. Highly recommend.
