Positive: Fantastic location for exploring Nice, overlooking promenade, close to old town, excellent transport links. In 6 days we visited several museums, the market, Monaco, viewpoints, the zoo and some excellent restaurants and patisseries Our first floor apartment facilities were great with a very well equipped kitchen (inc. plenty of good quality crockery and cutlery) and many useful extras such as shopping bags. Well stocked supermarket 2 minutes away. Very spacious, comfortable and clean living and sleeping areas. Lots of wonderful ornaments and interesting wall art. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening taking in the views (sunsets, cruise ships, planes taking off and landing and even an eclipse!) and the atmosphere. Bedrooms at rear so no noise from road or promenade. There were no bars or restaurants directly surrounding so no late night disturbances. A plumbing issue was reported at 07:00 on a Saturday, responded to by 07:20 and resolved very quickly with a profuse telephone apology from the host. Staff were very pleasant and friendly, including being flexible with key collection and booking our transfer to the airport.

Negative: We will definitely return to Nice but may sacrifice the promenade location for a cheaper apartment. There was work taking place elsewhere in the block but we were not affected in any way by this.
