Positive: The property is very quiet in the countryside, despite being near the motorway and railway. We were able to relax and watch sheep out the window. Internet was brilliant! The whole space was spacious and clean. The owners are approachable and welcoming. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Never felt cold during the frost as there is underfloor heating. Pets welcome. We bought our two cats and they loved watching the sheep.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like.

Summary: A great stay after having moved house.

Negative: Very cold on arrival , took a while to warm up Fortunately arrived in the light. Would be useful to have some kind of identifiable post by gate as woukd be tricky to find or use what 3 words for location

Positive: The location of the property was on farmland, with sheep near by. The property is five minutes walk from a pub selling pub food. Paddock Barn, is beautifully decorated & comfortable. The patio area was great with unusual plants & shrubs in the garden.

Negative: It's not that we didn't like something, but we thought it would be fair to mention, that the main wooden gate to the Orchard barn, & Paddock Barn properties was difficult to unlock. The lock being stiff. Also there was no sign to say that Paddock Barn, followed Orchard Barn, which would have been useful. We thought it would be very useful to have toothbrush charging points in the bathroom & en suite. My daughter only brought an electric toothbrush & it needed charging. Also a mirror in the single bedroom would have been useful. The double bed was very comfortable, the single beds not so. I do hope the above comments are helpful, for all future guests to enjoy Paddock Barn to the maximum.

Positive: Lovely location and comfortable barn conversion had a nice relaxing weekend. When making contact with the owner regarding the keys, very friendly and straight forward interaction..

Negative: When booked, saw this on dog friendly cottages which starts the booking gives you a cost and then transfers you to booking.com. the website charged the price quoted on dog friendly cottages including the fee for my pet, then received a message from a third party site saying we hadn't paid for the dog and needed to pay a further £25. After 2 lengthy calls listening to hold music I eventually got through to pay as the operator said there was a system fault that doesn't include the dog when it transfers for payment. Not good customer service.

Positive: Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. Quiet location. Lovely views. Very responsive owners.

Negative: It says it has a garden but really it is a small courtyard. If you have a mobility disability be aware that there are two steps to enter the property and two steps to get to the small courtyard.
