Positive: Incredible luxury immersion in nature. Extremely well designed, beautiful property and interiors. So much nature viewing while on the property. Proximity to the river is incredible. At all hours and in all weather there is so much life and natural beauty all around you. The sounds of nature are immersive. I loved that there were no windows and only screens in the bungalow. This added to the experience for me. Rafting in and out was incredible, especially going out. Saw so many different birds and the beauty of the river is unforgettable. The food was also exceptional, beautifully presented, very fresh, and textures and flavors were on par with any high end restaurant in the city. The masseuse at the spa is extremely talented. The naturalists and guides are knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Even the drivers to and from San Jose were a complete joy.

Negative: The concierge had a very odd and off putting disposition. Unprofessional and lacked the competence and relational skills expected for being the front face of such a high end experience in all other ways. This was surprising. Fortunately there is not much interaction with her, and the professionalism and skill of all the other staff more than made up for it.

Positive: Beautiful lodge in the middle of the rainforest. The activities were fun especially zip-lining and canyoning. Giavani and Eric the guides were amazing!

Positive: The rafting in and out is amazing with incredible scenery. The staff are unbelievable and friendly and helpful

Negative: No windows! There are just bug screens on the rooms so lots of critters gets in and it's also very hot/ humid and damp in the rooms. It's very very noisy at night which wasn't great for us. I'm all for getting close to nature but I do like to be comfortable when I'm asleep and not have bugs dropping my head and feel like the thunderstorms are actually in my room and be very hot and humid. Two nights was definitely enough!

Positive: I loved almost everything: the nature, the organization, the crew, the attention to the details, the room, the property, the sustainability, the great taste in decoration, the full board, the activities menu, the isolation close to the river. One of my best hotel/stays in my life: it was the most exciting "check-in process" to arrive and leave from a boat doing rafting in a gorgeous place (Thanks Dani Flaco! & Luis for the pics and fun!). I also loved to have the option to shower before go to the airport and have lunch over a boat: all those details... I loved the canopy and the sympathy of Luis as the instructor Dave! The room was stunning. I'll remember this forever, for sure. I wish we could stay for many days, we didn't have time to enjoy the pool and any other activities.

Negative: The food flavor could be improved, though the menu options and the presentation was very nice. Some was delicious, some had no taste or way too sweet to finish.

Summary: A immersive nature-wild experience and gorgeous stay with excellent care
