Summary: Apsttment was magnificent. Incredibly comfortable bed and good facilties within. Kitchen, living room and bsthroom all immaculate, honestly accommodation itself second to none. Location not ideal if you dont have a car though due to distance from shops and resturanta in center of Mackay. If you have a car though as i assume most would, recommend staying here

Summary: Nice quiet neighbour hood. Pretty clean but not spotless Only two pillows and no spare blanket Fabric headboard which grosses me out Smelt of old man and beer .. luckily I had room spray. Advertised as sea view but looked into the city

Summary: The elevator stopped working and we were in the top story. Dust on the top of doors.

Summary: Apartment was fine, heavily used though and some things were wornout or broken ( no knob on the ceiling fan switch, one window wouldn't close properly). But the staff were very friendly and the area was very quiet.

Summary: Property has potential but it's lack of cleaning and maintenance let's it down. This accommodation seems to be mostly shift workers short term stays with some residential, not for holidays. We tried to modify stay by moving back one day, Pacific Sands said no problem but we had to get Wotif to put it through. Wotif then made a big deal about it and claimed Pacific Sands would not respond so we either lost a nights stay or had to pay a large fee for the change. Upon arrival the reception at Pacific Sands had received nothing from Wotif and happily moved our dates by one day. A big thank you to the reception for doing that. We haven't used Wotif for some time and won't be using them again
