Summary: Great property, unfortunately a few things let it down. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for each toilet for 6 people staying for a week. We had to buy more. One dishwashing tablet was provided for the whole week. Also a very small amount of dishwashing liquid provided, so had to buy more. Only used dish clothes provided, again had to go buy some as the agent requires all dishes to be washed and put away on departure. No facewashers were provided. Only one towel per person for the week, difficult to wash and dry within a day with no dryer. Floors were sticky, so we mopped the floors (on our holiday, not ideal), the water in the bucket was black. Clearly not been mopped for a long time. Carpet clearly not vacuumed. House was also dusty. Ensuite sky light leaks significantly. Window lock on downstairs bedroom was broken so window couldnt be opened. Upstairs there's no blinds on the side frosted windows, so in summer be prepared for 6am starts, particularly if kids are upstairs. Positives, the area and house was nice. The pool was great and very clean, bbq was clean. Furniture new and clean (although the stools hard to sit on at kitchen table, very uncomfortable). If staying here, expect to have to clean on arrival and expect nothing at all to be provided.

Summary: House was great overall driveway and street is very steep which was hard with a 20 ft trailer boat but we managed the 2 frypans in the house need replacing they were unusable with the Teflon coating scratched up but we just didn’t cook with them the pool was fantastic but it was very cold but I’m guessing the pool is solar heated even with these faults I would still stay again thank you

Summary: The beginning of our stay at oyster view was not a great one as we arrived to find the property had not been properly cleaned. The lounge was covered in dog hair and the rest of the rooms had not been vacuumed. I spent over an hour cleaning the night we arrived and then again the next morning which is not how anyone wants to start a holiday. The pool also wasn't cleaned and a mouse was found in the filter so we were unable to use it for 2 days. The property manager Ali was very good and got onto these things straight away which we appreciated. Overall its clear the property needs some good maintenance inside and out and a new cleaning team. Otherwise we did really enjoy the spaciousness of the house, the pool is good when you don't want to/are unable to get to the beach, the kitchen has everything you need in it (maybe a coffee pod machine would be a welcome addition) and it was great to be able to have our dog there with us.

Summary: We had a great time! Nice place to stay. Only comment is in regards to the cleanliness of the property as we found the carpets, toilets and shower not properly cleaned also lots of dust and spiderwebs. We had to clean the house a bit more, don’t think the cleaners are doing a very good job.

Summary: We (2 couples with small dogs) have enjoyed our stay at Oyster View during our 4 days' visit to Merimbula. The house can easily accommodate more guests, but for us four plus pets it was the ideal base for our stay. Beds and the 2 bathrooms provide good comfort, the kitchen is well equipped, the BBQ is excellent and the pool a welcome addition. The fully fenced backyard provides peace of mind for the dog owners. Happy to recommend the property to any interested visitors of the area.
