Positive: Every detail about the house, setting and all the comforts provided.
Negative: A guest staying below in the “octopus den” heard us move a chair out from the table one morning around 7am. They called in a noise complaint about this. I felt it was a minor noise and some noise like that should be expected by those staying on that level. It was not repetitive and we were mindful of it from then on.

Positive: Beautiful and relaxing home. Very thoughtfully decorated with a wonderful kitchen and bathroom. Very peaceful and quiet (except the Whidbey Island jets, but we knew what we were signing up for). You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the house. Everything was clean and ready for us with all the amenities. We loved waking up and seeing the fog over the water.
Negative: The hot tub and backyard are shared across the other rentals that are part of the home. And the parking can be a little tight if all the places are rented out.

Positive: A very cozy place. Modern mixed with what I would expect mountain living to be. Very clean. Everything you need is provided. Master bath is updated and immaculate. The private beach was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and grilled often. The property is very well maintained.
Negative: Description of the property did not specify that the hot tub and fire pit is shared with two other units. The kitchen window does not have any windows treatments and it is wide open for anyone in the parking area to see straight into the rental.

Positive: We loved the location, the house was beautiful. It had nearly everything we could ask for. And the wildlife was awesome: deer, eagles, quail and bunnies!
Negative: This property is listed as sleeping 6 but the third “bed” is a hard futon type thing. Not a double bed. We had 4 adults and one tried to sleep on the sofa. Also, the ice maker did not work. I am sure it was a filter issue.
Summary: With everything considered, this was a great place.

Positive: Beautiful cozy house with a gorgeous view on the water; great to share with a friend, with the privacy of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable living room with gas fireplace. The hot tub was fun.
Negative: The parking is a little tight but manageable.
