Positive: It was a little far out for our purposes. It was brilliant for a one night stay with Children. I don’t think I could do it for a full week as the gardens are communal! We had two dogs and five very rowdy children.

Positive: Great location, we were celebrating our Mum's 90th birthday, visiting all our old haunts.

Negative: Leaving the cleaning up to guests results in not the cleanest property. Not everyone has the same cleaning ethos. Vacuum cleaner was absolutely full and spread the smell of dog when using (we have a dog so are very aware of pet smells). Bathroom was very tired and the size of the barn would benefit from a second toilet. The only bedroom with a wardrobe was the main bedroom. All wardrobes and cupboards had a smell, not nice to put clothes in. The outside patio flagstones needed a good weed to make it pleasant to sit out on and as a family group of 63 - 90 the picnic bench seating provided was not accessible for a few of us. This barn could be wonderful with a few tweaks. We did enjoy our stay but would have loved it had the above comments been addressed. Chris & Gaynor were lovely hosts.

Positive: In a well placed location on the North Norfolk coast to tour the area. Oyster barn is in a lovely rural position but is also close to amenities. Arrival instructions were informative and there were lots of recommendations for quieter beaches and good eateries that we explored. Wi-Fi signal was good. As the weather was great we were able to enjoy the use of the bbq.

Negative: Like other previous visitor comments one bathroom/toilet for six people was a strategical challenge but manageable. Toilet had an annoying dripping leak that needs attention.

Summary: Enjoyed a lovely few days in North Norfolk at Oyster barn.
