Summary: This was our third stay overall in Spokane while visiting our Son. The hotel “checked off” most of the boxes initially when looking for a place to stay. Close to our son’s home and the Riverfront park. When booking any hotel stay we look at pet friendly places as we travel with 2 of your French Bulldogs. On “paper” so the speak Oxford Suites did “check those boxes” but once we arrived and checked in it became immediately clear that it wasn’t all that great “in real life.” As I said we always travel with 2 of our Frenchie’s both are very small under 20lbs and very well behaved and while I understand the need for hotels to charge guests for allowing pets the price of that was a bit ridiculous. For a 5 night stay we were charged an extra $350 on top of our $900 for the room. They did not honor my “service dog” credentials. So warning to guests traveling with you pet make sure to read the “fine print.” We come over to Spokane several times a year and will not be staying at the Oxford Suites again. It was nice it was a smaller hotel just 1 building but not great with the customer service and not honoring my credentials for our dogs. If you are someone who doesn’t travel with pets this would be not a bad hotel. But just for a few days for a small get away it would probably would be a nice stay.

Summary: Came to town for Bloomsday. Loved the proximity and that parking and breakfast were free. My kids also really enjoyed the swimming pool!
