We purchased this lodge in the summer of 2012 and have renovated it to a very high standard. This is our home from home, so its been done with great care and attention to detail. We have installed a new fully fitted kitchen with a real wood breakfast bar. We have also installed English & French Satellite TV. Green Park has 77 lodges, with owners from all over Europe. Its a very quite tranquil area with stunning views out over the lake and golf course.
We have a shared seasonal heated Swimming pool, (Open from around 17th May to end of September)

Summary: Great from start to finish. Good communication with Russell, easy check in, chalet just as it looked on the internet, but hadn't realised what a great viewof the lake we'd have. Clean, warm and comfortable accommodation, it had everything we needed. As we're not very good with technology we couldn't get the DVD player to work and Russell very kindly came over and sorted it out for us - thank you again Russell. We enjoyed the few days we spent here and hope to be back again.

Summary: Great little lodge central to all the major centres for visiting. Town of Vire has everything you could need from an English speaking vet to a Mc D for the kids.

Summary: Beautiful location amongst similar properties on a nice private park. The lodge was very well equipped, though we did encounter quite a few power cuts during our stay which hampered making use of many of the internal facilities. However, we made good use of the crazy golf and petanque court on site and had some lovely walks around the lake, geocaching, and around the area. The lodge itself was plenty big enough for the five of us with pooch, and very cosy in the evenings. The owners were very helpful by ensuring we had plenty of detail regarding the lodge, site and area before and during our visit. A great base for our holiday. Thank you!

Summary: Wonderful setting over a large lake so lots of opportunity for walking,cycling, kayak. Next to one of the best golf courses in Normandy. We stayed with our 6 year old and had loads of space inside the accommodation. Everything you need in the lodge. Swimming pool is excellent, within 1 min walk and warm. Nearest town Vire is 10 mins away and lovely for a walk round, beer and food. Market day is Friday. Easy to get to a great zoo 30 mins and St Mon Micheal. If you come via Caen it’s all a breeze to find in c1hour. thankyou

Summary: The lodge was very nice, as shown in the pictures with everthing needed and very comfortable. The view from the lodge is awesome and the whole area very nice for children as for the pool and park. The only negative issue was the restriction with internet. On the page this was not indicated, we were told we would have 2 gigas and finally only had 1 giga. Apart from this, we had a very nice time.

Summary: The lodge is in a really peaceful setting with a covered pool, petanque court, crazy mini golf area and a fabulous view over the lake. It's really well equipped and comfortable. Vire is less than ten mins away by car, it's a cute little town and very well served. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a holiday destination.

Summary: This is a lovely, well fitted out and cared for chalet. The facilities are perfect with a pool, small playground and crazy golf which we made good use of. The lake is 5 minutes by car and we enjoyed walking and bike riding there, as well as pedalos on the lake. It's a great location for visits to Jurques' Zoo, and the beaches at Granville are fantastic. We had the most amazing holiday. The Bates family

Summary: This was our second visit to Green Park and first to this lodge. It had everything we needed, it was really comfortable and well laid out and we had a fantastic family holiday. We made use of the adult bikes which were kindly provided at the lodge and took the children on many bike rides around the lake. On a wet day, the children had much fun competing on the wii in the lodge after another great swim session in the pool. We are staying again this Easter and hopefully after that at our own lodge, which we decided to buy when we stayed here in August.

Summary: We are returning for our third time this year. The location of the lodge is great. The lake is perfect for bike rides with the kids and the roads are so quiet that we ventured further last year. Vire is nearby for shopping needs and there are many attractions close-by. The Coast is not too far away for days at the beach. The chalet itself is well equipped and comfortable for a family of 4. Having a pool and a boule court on site is another bonus as well.
