**BREATHTAKING** views of the Shenandoah Valley and River from 2,000 feet up on the side of the mountain! French doors in the master bedroom suite and in the living room open up to a 2-level deck, half covered & half uncovered.
Master suite includes private access to deck and hot tub and a full bathroom. Brand new patio furniture will have you relaxing in no time. And a real wood burning stove for a rustic touch. You'll feel refreshed and renewed after a few days in Overlook Cabin!
VERY unique views from the side of a mountain. The house is decorated with a mountain feel, but with all the luxuries of home.
You'll have the whole house to yourself.
Other things to note:
ROAD AND VEHICLE: While the cabin is accessible for a normal car, we HIGHLY recommend a higher clearance vehicle like an SUV. Subaru's and RAV4's are common, but many other vehicles are also on the mountain. We offer an SUV (free of charge) to guests who prefer to use it for the final mile to the cabin.
PETS: Pets are welcome (there is a pet fee). There is a pet disclaimer, so please review policies regarding pets under the House Rules.
AMENITY USE: We work hard to keep everything fully operational, but occasionally appliances & equipment such as dishwashers & hot tubs, etc can malfunction. We will service & restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Please follow all guidelines & policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning properly.
BOOKING MINIMUM: 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates.

Summary: We loved this little cabin. It’s extremely comfortable and the view is spectacular (and you can enjoy it from the hot tub !) Unless you have a4-wheel drive with good clearance, we recommend taking one of the Jeeps the owner offers up to the house.

Summary: Property was as “comfortable” as advertised…pictures listed with the property did not do justice to the panoramic views from the deck. Kitchen was adequately stocked with the necessary provisions…all appliances were clean and well maintained. Would definitely book this cabin again! Propane grill was clean and ready to go…a big plus added to the outdoor vibe.

Summary: Check-in and checkout was flawless. Cabin was amazing and has everything you need to be comfortable from the kitchen amenities to bathroom to laundry! Views are breath taking!! Will be staying again in the future! I will say an SUV did make it easy to get up and down the mountain, no paved roads all dirt. Great waterfall hike nearby as well!! Family enjoyed our get away. 10 out of 10 would stay here all over again!

Summary: This cabin was perfect. Very clean, great view and organized. It was interestingly situated high up on a mountain and it was a lot of fun for us to drive the jeep (that host provided) to go up and down the hill on the rocky roads, very adventurous. I would definitely recommend it. It was just the two of us but the cabin can comfortably fit in a lot more people.

Summary: What a delightful break from the city. I spent 5 nights relaxing in the hot tub, watching the stars and reading. The cabin was clean and cozy. The staff on the mountain were very helpful and kind. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

Summary: Our weekend was perfect! We loved the view and the hike to the waterfall was so peaceful (smaller than anticipated when we got there, but still beautiful). The house was decorated to be so homey and comfortable with lots of games to choose from when we wanted a break from the TV. We were snowed in but felt so comfortable the whole weekend! It lives up to the hype!
