Summary: I booked the Heritage cottage, it’s newly renovated, very clean and cozy. Staffs were very polite and helpful, from the front desk, to maintenance to the breakfast server. This property is very quite with beautiful nature around it.

Summary: Even though this was 25 miles out of Jasper we are so glad we stayed at the Overlander the 4 days we explored Jasper National Park. It was a real surprise to discover one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We stayed in one of the cabins (17) which had a beautiful view of Folding Mountain. The cabin itself was immaculate, very roomy and had a very attractive fireplace, which we did not use, as the temperatures were in the high 80's. We do wish they had had 2 chairs inside to sit on instead of only one. The resort does sit right above the highway and the trucks can be quite noisy, but it was very quiet at night. We did not eat in the restaurant on site but it looked very serene and upscale. There is an incredibly beautiful deck outside the lobby but unfortunately it was too hot to sit out there. We did eat at their Folding Mountain Brewery about a mile up the road. The food was good and the view was even better. Luckily this area did not burn in the 2024 fire so the forest is still lovely around the Overlander. We hated to leave, as we had so enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We stayed in a middle cabin. They are not very spacious, but quaint. We had noisy neighbours on one side late at night. Called the after hours number and they came right away to deal with the situation. Management was supposed to call as requested, however we never received a call from the property. Restaurant was nice. Good food, beautiful views.

Summary: The room was pretty clean, but honestly, based on all the beautiful pictures shown on this site, what I saw and thought I booked and ended up with was a huge case of bait and switch. The room and the specially bathroom was hugely out-dated, bathroom looked like it got a reno in the 80's with counter chunks missing and the most aweful looking shower we've had the chane of using since our University dorm days. Also, beds were NOT comfortable at all. Honestly for such a pristine beautiful property, main guesthouse and grounds and that main pic that surely seals the deal for them most of the time with that patio between the mountains, which were very nice, it's a shame they run with such aweful rooms for a hefty price paid. Especially since none of the pictures looked anything like this terrible room. Beware and expect to be disappointed if you get unlucky like us.

Summary: We stayed in one of the Kitchenette rooms. I think the seasonal nightly rate was very high considering the aged condition of the room, squeaky mattress, small refrigerator, no A/C. The location and property is however beautiful and cabin cozy. Can't say enough about the restaurant! The food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. The view is spectacular. Will come just to eat here again!

Summary: Was upgraded to the 3 bedroom chalet and had so much space and full kitchen and large balcony for beautiful views of the mountain. Our group enjoyed our stay and the staff especially Yvonne at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful.
